Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Skagit Bay Hideaway "on the Salish Sea" is a waterfront property near La Conner. We are open for business and to protect our guests we thoroughly clean then disinfect the suite between bookings. We are located mid-way between Seattle, Washington and Vancouver, British Columbia at the jump off point for the San Juan Islands and the North Cascades Mountains. If Suite 1 is full please try Suite 2 as they have identical layouts while still being separate and private from each other.

The space
We welcome you to enjoy the guesthouse with its two architecturally designed suites. Each features its own outside entrance, living room with fireplace and large corner windows framing the view of the bay and fir trees. There is a TV and Wi-Fi so you may stay connected to the outside world if you wish. The kitchens are fully equipped with all appliances, if you choose to prepare meals in. The bathrooms each feature a luxurious walk-in shower with two shower heads and four body sprays. The stairway leads to the sleeping area with a queen bed and opens through French doors to a private roof top deck. Sit back, kick your feet up and enjoy the view! There is a washer and dryer available for long term stays. This is a non-smoking, no pet suite.

Guest access
Our guest/s have full access to the suite, the grounds (except the house decks and fenced in area – a cat safety zone as there are coyotes) and the top of the bank. Experience Skagit Bay’s breath-taking sunsets from the guest house suites or from the Adirondack chairs on the terrace overlooking the bay. The real show stopper is when we are blessed by an enormous moon spilling its silvery light across the bay!!

Other things to note
Skagit Bay Hideaway has been featured in Sunset and Coastal Living Magazines. Also the guesthouse has been reviewed in Best Places NW, Best Places To Kiss, Romanic WA and Frommer’s (‘Seattle, Lodging by the bay’).
Frommer’s review: The Pacific Northwest has a vast amount of breathtaking vistas and you can witness many at the Skagit Bay Hideaway, beautiful lodging on Puget Sound that is the personification of relaxation. At the Skagit Bay Hideaway, located less than two hours north of Seattle, you will instantly feel secluded from the world and ready to take part in a myriad of activities from kayaking to birding or just reading the day away. If human interaction is also on your agenda head into the nearby historic town of La Conner to indulge in great food, museums and an art scene that would make any big city proud.
We invite you to take part in wonderful day trips that the Cascade Mountains, Puget Sound (the Salish Sea), San Juan Islands and the Skagit Valley have to offer our guests! If you have a chance to participate in the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival it will rank as one of the special treats of a lifetime. We would be happy to help you plan your northwest adventure. We have shared this special slice of the world with our guests for more than 23 years!
You may want to bring what you need with you. La Conner is the closest town, only a mile and a half away. We recommend bringing your groceries if you wish to cook in. There is a gas barbecue on the entry deck for your use. For your convenience there is a small well stocked grocery store in La Conner. Anacortes is about a 20 minute drive. La Conner is known for having the best restaurants in the Skagit Valley. The town has added a boardwalk along the channel – a delightful place to enjoy walking and watching all the water activity! There are no “chain stores” but instead La Conner has a wonderful walk-able shopping area.
