Good Moon Cottage is a traditional West Indian wooden cottage perched on top of a peaceful, secluded hill-side property.
The cottage is in the nestled in the trees on our organic farm and is surrounded by bananas, mangos, pau pau, herbs and tropical flowers. We offer a free herb garden and in-house prices on our produce. Or you can help out on the farm in exchange for fresh produce.
The Cottage is about 600 feet above the unspoiled north shore called Cooper Bay and a five minute drive (15 min walk) from Trunk Bay, one of Tortola's most spectacular and empty beaches.
Being centrally located, we are well situated for easy exploring of the West and East of Tortola. Being locals, we can easily advise you on quality excursions, daysails, hikes and unusual adventures. If you are surfers, local knowledge is readily available so we can send you to all the best surfing spots.
The accommodation is ideal for a young family, one or two couples or four friends! The open loft bedroom has a queen-sized bed and downstairs has a full size bed. A baby bed and extra floor mats are available. Sheets are included.
There is a small kitchen, refrigerator, toilet and shower with a view!
The balcony offers a hammock and you’ll enjoy eating outside on the outdoor dining table. A barbecue in the back yard completes your cooking experience.
There is also a DVD player and small stereo for your enjoyment.
And finally, if you need a car, we’re happy to help arrange a car rental for you.

Our recent getaway to Good Moon Cottage was wonderful. Our days were spent casually touring and sunning. The people of Tortola were gracious and our hosts were welcoming. Good Moon Cottage was the perfect place to turn off the 'noise' of our hectic lives.
What can one say other than magical; the hosts, the cottage, the farm and team, the food, the view. We had an amazing stay at the cottage in December, and are so grateful to have found this little slice of heaven. We enjoyed several lovely bags of fresh produce from the farm including cucumbers, aubergines, spinach and lettuce, loads of herbs, peppers and of course, some home made cassava bread. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat nearly every meal at the cottage, though we did make it to the Fish and Lime on our hosts’ recommendation and enjoyed lunch down at the docks. This December, given the big rains, we were glad we had a 4x4 Jimmy to reach the farm (note we rented from DeDe’s on the island and its brilliant service with an easy pick up/drop off at the Ferry in Road Town). We also enjoyed frequent visits from our little cat friends. We can’t thank Federica and Aragorn enough for their wonderful hospitality, give our best to Drake and we look forward to another visit!

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Amazing views, beautiful beaches are very close, and the produce at the farm is unbelievable. Aragorn, Frederica, and Drake were great hosts and made us feel right at home. Tortola greatly exceeded our expectations. Will stay here again for sure!
Outstanding experience. This place is a top destination.
We stayed at Good Moon for a whole glorious week in mid-February. It was one of the most relaxing and beautiful trips I've taken. The produce on the farm was incredible. We're still dreaming about the amazing arugula, lettuces, spinach off the vine and ultra fragrant cilantro! Drake and Danna were gracious hosts and helped us out in many ways. Aragorn and Federica were warm and welcoming and have created such a wonderful place. We will be recommending this farm to all our friends. Brooklyn will be coming to Tortola, I guarantee it! Thanks for the wonderful escape! -Sage & Tess
Had a wonderful time at Good Moon cottage!!! Very quite, away from all the hussle and bussle of a normal resort. Fantastic view from your bedroom window and off the front porch. Your own private beach only 5 minute drive. A 4x4 jeep is a must to get around anywhere on this island. Aragorn and Federica our very warm and friendly host. The organic farm is a incredible sight in its self, with fresh fruit and vegetables at your disposal. The cottage has all the amenities you could ever need for cooking and cleaning. It's not the Hilton so dont expect room service or an ice machine. All and all a wonderful experience that throws you smack dab into the BVI culture and ways of life. Will be returning in the future! Our recent tip to the Virgin Islands (US and British) included a 3 night stay at Aragorn and Federica's cottage which was my highlight of the trip.
The cottage is beautiful and has plenty of amenities for those seeking a peaceful vacation away from the usual hotel stay.
Plenty of fruits and vegetables are available from the farm if you ask ahead of time and the view is spectacular.
A 4-Wheel Drive car is definitely a must if you want to be able to get to the cottage easily.
