The Crowley Cabin can accommodate up to 6 and ideal for families. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and the living and family area has 2 bunk beds and a queen size futon sofa. The cabin has a full-size kitchen and bathroom and good sized family area for a tiny home/cabin. There is an enclosed mudroom for skis and poles in the winter and backpacks and fishing gear for all seasons. This cabin is great for people with a lot of gear. Crowley stands alone to the north of the property.
The space
The cabin has unparalleled 360 degree mountain views. This is a stand alone cabin with no shared walls. The property allows for the seclusion of a 17 acre ranch while being only 1/2 mile from Old Mammoth Road with shops and restaurants. The location of the property allows guests to immerse themselves in the surroundings and truly capture the spirit of the eastern Sierra Nevada.
Guest access
The cabin is steps to Mammoth Creek and a 6-10 minute walk (depending on weather and snow conditions) to the free town trolley transit system. Located in the Sherwin Creek Recreational area, if you enjoy hiking and biking, there are many accessible trails in the area. In the winter it is possible these trials will be covered with snow, allowing for snow shoeing and other winter recreating.
Other things to note
We accept dogs. 2 dogs maximum per stay. $25/per night plus tax for one dog, and an additional $15/per night plus tax for the second plus a $25.00 plus tax cleaning fee. Additional fees of $20 plus tax per instance if excessive hair, hair on linens, comforter, blanket or sofa is found at check out. Please notify in advance if you plan to bring a pet. A $20 fee will be charged of you do not pick up after your pet. We encourage our pet owners to bring dog beds, poop bags and lint/hair rollers and do their best to manage pet hair during their stay. There are coyotes in the mountains and leash laws in town so please bring a leash for your dog.
SNOW! Please be prepared for winter driving conditions. Make sure to check weather and road conditions prior to your departure. There are no refunds for weather related occurrences. All guests of Sierra Meadows Ranch must have either an all wheel or four wheel drive vehicle or MUST have chains for a 2-wheel drive. There will not be staff on hand to dig you out or to help install chains. Snow chain installation crews are available as you exit the 395 on highway 203. The charge is usually $40 and well worth it to make sure the chains are installed correctly. Sierra Meadows Ranch pays a Transient Occupancy Tax and a Business Improvement District tax and this 14% is included with the nightly rate. BTC number 8462.
