We are looking forward to seeing you again as a returning guest, or meeting you for the first time.

The studio is a few minute’s drive from the hustle and bustle of Lyme. Its surrounded by countryside and lots of lovely walks, including a short river walk to town and the sea.

The studio is clean, fresh and has everything you need to be comfortable in a lovely sunny self-contained space, for a long or short-stay.

The space
Glebefield studio is next door to our home with it's own parking. It’s set in a peaceful sunny setting, backing onto meadows and a beautiful hill.

The studio is light and fresh, has a spacious feel, it’s comfortable and very clean.

There’s a fully equipped kitchen for those who want to cater for themselves with double doors opening onto a small private courtyard with a parasol, hammock, table and chairs. There’s a fence surround, making it a nice sun trap.

The chalet is open plan with a bed sitting room, kitchen, separate bathroom, and walk-in shower. There's a comfy double bed, a two seated sofa, tv and dvd. In the kitchen area there's a fridge, hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, and everything you might need. There’s a welcome pack of cereal, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits plus toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet roll) in the bathroom.

We are a friendly local young family who have run 4.9 (out of 5) star rated holiday accommodation for 7 years. Our familiy run two small boats from the harbour in Lyme – one is an inshore fishing vessel, the other is a sightseeing and passenger fishing boat that you can book through us if you would like a boat trip.

You can expect to have a lovely time staying at Glebefields. There are so many great things to do right on the doorstep, or travel if you like, or of course just simply relax . We are happy to offer information and recommendations if you let us know what your needs and interests are.

Guest access
The Chalet/ studio is self-contained with it's own key safe. It has it's own entrance and small private sunny courtyard, next door to our home. There's a shared drive with us and studio parking for one car, marked out clearly for guests.

Other things to note
We continue as we always to deep clean the accommodation and look after it. We appreciate guests leaving it in a good way.

Neighborhood highlights

Whalley lane is just off the main road into Lyme Town Centre. There are fantastic walks in every direction, you can walk to Lyme easily along the stream, through the woods or along the coast path. Of course you can walk on the road if you prefer. The beautiful and historic viaduct is a short 10 min walk along country lanes.
There's a campsite very close by - a great pub The Talbot Arms and Uplyme stores that has fuel and groceries.

Matt and I both live and work in Lyme. Matt is a fisherman, boatman and carpenter and I grew up here, have various jobs, enjoy gardening and refurbishing the chalet. We both love and know the area really well which has lots of nice places to walk and visit and we will be happy to share our local knowledge with you.
