Mountain view

Guests say the views are lovely.
Woodsy cabin getaway just 75 minutes northeast of Seattle. Located on scenic Mt Loop highway close to lots of hiking trails. Spectacular view of Whitehorse Mountain and year round glacier ice. A quick one minute walk from the house to Squire Creek.

The space
This house has two bedrooms with queen mattresses, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a sleep worthy couch. The patio has a giant built in fire pit with plenty of seating. Just a one minute walk from the house is Squire Creek where enjoying a cold dip and sun bathing is highly recommended. Firewood is available for purchase. We have plenty of large grassy fields for playing or additional camping. We have a number of sixteen foot bell tents available for rent separately during the summer. We also offer a large camping area with outdoor kitchen. Additionally we have a finished barn available to rent for parties to assure a covered area.

Other things to note
Darrington is cute town nestled between the mountain ranges with abundant wildlife and natural beauty. Darrington has a huge archery range with multiple walking courses with targets along the way. National archery competitions are hosted here every summer. We're also host to the Darrington Bluegrass Fairgrounds that hosts a number of music festivals with all kinds of different music. Go grab coffee and breakfast at Moe's before heading out to the hiking trails or come back for dinner at Dos Agaves Mexican Restaurant. I highly recommend checking out the lookout watch tower if your feeling adventuresome. We hope you enjoy your stay!

Hello! I manage two Airbnb locations close to Darrington. I live on the "Cabin with Glacier View" property in the other side of the house. We have separate front and back doors. You will have the big deck on the back of the house all to yourself. I have a very friendly black lab named Maggie and keep her leashed when I have guests, please do the same if you bring your dog!
