Sister Casita was a great property and next time we are in Taos this will be our first inquiry. Great property in a great location. Dog-friendly is a great perk, plus we enjoyed the outdoor area with a hammock and patio furniture. The area/neighborhood is very quiet - which is what we were looking for. All the amenities worked great and the WiFi was super fast. Thanks!!
The Sister Casita was an amazing experience in Taos. Great location, great amenities, comfortable, and beautiful. Jessica was a wonderful host. She gave us great suggestions for how to enjoy the city and was open and available.
Wonderful find! We were skeptical given recent reviews that it was not clean, but that was not our experience. Home was comfortable and an easy place to relax. The back deck is private and a nice place to have a quiet night cap. Jessica called after our stay to confirm everything was to our liking. I recommend this to anyone looking for a nice and not fru-fru place to stay in Taos.
Very nice casa in Taos - location was wonderful. It was easy to communicate with Jessica. Recommended.
Sister Casita was wonderful, very private, very close to town but quiet, with wonderful local character in the interiors and great private outdoor spaces.
The description of the house was good. There is a car wash that is directly behind the house and that is a bit of a beat down. It was overall a pretty good experience. But, I wouldn't stay here again because of pillbugs and spiders. It's like camping indoors.
We were very disappointed with our stay at Sister Casuta. Upon arrival were were greeted with an overwhelming lingering smoke order and wet dog hair smell. But, we decided that we had to make the best of it. Later that night we noticed that the floor in the main living area was literally moving with bugs. The kitchen appliances were old and had grease build up on them. Needless to say we chose not to cook, and spent as little time there as possible. The bedroom area was a bit better. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. However, the only bathroom was located in the master bedroom so would be very inconvenient for more than two people. I would would not recommend Sister Casita to anyone.

About the Host, Jessica
I am thrilled to be part of a fun loving family. Our collective love of art, music, fresh air, travel and learning keeps our lives vivid and full of wonderful memories together.
One season we are taking in the crisp autumns, snowy winters, breathtaking mountain vistas and eclectic history of Northern New Mexico. Next we are soaking up the warm sunshine, tropical breezes, luscious flavors and sacred spirit of the Hawaiian Islands.
We are privileged to have found ourselves stewards of three remarkable properties in these magical locations. We have lovingly revived these homes, taking great care to honor the history and sacred space of each one.
It is our pleasure to share with you, our gracious guest, these special places so dear to our heart. Welcome, and may your visit with us become part of your own collection of wonderful memories!
