The space
The house spans 3 levels:

Main Level:

Location:
• 3 miles south of Breckenridge, and across the street from the Blue River Road bus stop that is serviced by the Blue River Commuter.
• Convenient to the popular hiking trails of McCullough Gulch and Mohawk Lakes.
• Close to the historic Myla Rose Saloon, just 2 miles south of the Aframe and across the street from the McCullough Gulch trailhead
• 6 miles south of the house is Hoosier Pass/Continental Divide. Hoosier pass offers several summer and winter activity trails (please make sure to stay up to date on avalanche risks in the winter).
• Just past Hoosier Pass are several 14ers the rise out of the Valley of the Sun to the west. Views abound on this stretch and fall colors are great to catch here when the timing is right.

Provided Items:
• The kitchen is fully stocked with all essentials. We also provide complimentary salt and pepper, coffee and tea, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, kitchen towels, and a sponge.
• The bathroom is fully stocked with necessities as well as hairdryers and full size hand soap/conditioner/shampoo/body wash. Laundry detergent is supplied for the washer and dryer.
• There is a Pack N Play travel crib located at this property. Please bring your own Pack N Play crib sheets.

Other things to note
»We allow one or two well-behaved dogs. No other kinds pets are permitted. We expect you to be a responsible dog owner; please pick up after your dog(s) and do not leave them unattended. Fees may be incurred for any excess cleanup or damages.
» The minimum age to rent is 25.
» There is the potential to snow October-May so cars with proper snow tires and 4WD/AWD are required during this time.
» Property mountain access details are dependent on open lifts and runs. Guests are responsible for being aware of the Breckenridge Ski Area lift and terrain statuses.
» This house is located at an elevation of approximately 10,000ft and is considered high altitude. We recommend visiting the CDC website for information on visiting high altitudes.
» There is no air conditioning and most properties in the area do not have it due to the mild summer weather and the fact that it cools down significantly at night.
» Summit County has strict Short Term Rental rules and regulations that must be followed. Please refer to the Good Neighbor Guidelines posted in the unit on what is required from renters.
» The floors may be cold in the morning. Bring slippers!
» The house has three TVs that are SmartTVs connected to internet. There is not traditional cable.
» Weather in the mountains can be unpredictable, and travel disruptions may occur. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance, as we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations or interruptions due to circumstances beyond our control.

Neighborhood highlights

In the winter, the base mountain areas of Breckenridge are just a 5-10 minute drive away. Park at the ice rink lot and take the free bus into town. In the summer, goo rafting and fishing on the rivers and hiking in the mountains, or just explore the surrounding aspen and pine woods. The cabin is located only 3 miles from Breckenridge, which offers a good range of stores, plus restaurants, cafes, and bars.

Please note that this house, while set in the woods, is adjacent to Highway 9.
