WELCOME TO A NEW LUXURIOS PLACE WITH FAMILIAR ATHMOSPHERE IN AMED ON THE EAST COAST OF BALI
Picture to yourself a tropical paradise where you never feel cold. Imagine waking as the light increases outside the window of your luxury room, decorated with orchids and frangipani blossom. As you slide the window of your villa a gentle breeze creeps in, full of bird song at the scent of flowers. You gaze East towards the Island of Lombok across an azure rippling sea, where you can glide across the coral and view a multitude of fish, only metres from your villa. You sit on a chair, and take in the scene, or perhaps step down a few stairs to immerse yourself in the pool which is never cold. Afterwards, sip a blended fruit juice of mango, pineapple, papaya and mangosteen prepared by your own personal chef and maitre d'Kadek. You discuss with your friends and family your plans of the day, all of which will undoubtedly bring a feeling of relaxation and contentment.
BALI MARINA VILLA'S is a small Swiss-run complex of 3 luxury villas in Bunutan/Amed situated in the north east of Bali. The Amed area is often referred to as the "REAL" Bali. Only 2-3hours drive from Kuta and the Airport with several fast boats services to the Gili Islands and Lombok. Bunutan is also a great place to explore the area for diving, snorkelling, trekking, biking etc. Away from the mass tourism, you will find the original and authentic Bali with its unique culture and the traditional lifestyle of its local people.
In an area of modest beach hotels and small one storey villas, this property stands head and shoulders above any accommodation The small size of the development is in keeping with our philosophy a very personal and individualized holiday experience.

Other important information:
Bali Marina Villa's is not suitable for children under 5 and regrettably we do not have disabled access because of the stunning location on a slope which gives such a panoramic view of the sea. Please note that the swimming pools are unguarded.
The service was excellent. Marina, Kadek, Aiyu and the team were so willingly to go the extra mile to make our stay wonderful -- from walking many steps uphill several times a day to serve us meals in our room, to cheerfully tending to our specific preferences. Marina was friendly and kind - we had wanted to go to Ubud to buy wood carvings but did not have time and Marina brought back a blue basket that we liked all the way from Ubud for us.
The food was amazing - we had different fish dishes in various styles. The spring rolls -- a dish we had tried many times in our home country Singapore -- also really surpassed expectations. We had read about the terrific food offered at Bali Marina Villas, and even then we are quite stunned at how good it was!
The villa itself was beautiful and full of wood, bright and in the day relaxing with plenty of space and different areas to chill out in. In the night, warm lights make for a cosy and romantic ambience. The washroom was quite luxurious and spacious, with a separate shower area that was open at the top so you can see the stars at night, and another area with a bathtub. There is air-conditioning in the four-poster bed bedroom. The place looks even better than in the photos.
On the whole, this is a splendid place and well worth the 3 hours drive from the Bali airport. We will be back again!
We absolutely loved Marina's villa. It actually looks much better in reality than on the pictures! The bed is a dreamy and the bathroom was the most beautiful bathroom we saw in Bali and we saw many nice hotels during our trip. The best part was that we got breakfast and dinner (delicious) at our own table in the villa! I felt totally at home. Also the sunrise from our balcony was breathtaking.
Airco worked very good. Staff was very friendly specially Marina who also gave us excellent tips for Bali.
Marina also arranged a driver who picked us up fron Ubud and also drove us around the area.
If you're planning on staying in Amed this is an excellent choice.
This villa is great, one of the best in Amed I would think! The view is first class, the master bedroom large and super nice. The second bedroom is more average but still very clean and comfortable. Only downside is that it's quite a lot of noise from scooters without mufflers (hot trend among Amed's teenagers), even at night. Amed's restaurant scene is not impressive but the staff at this villa has a new three item menu every night, served in the villa. It was by far the best food we had during our stay in Amed. The staff rented scooters to us (sorely needed in Amed) for a good price. If you're going to Amed don't hesitate, you probably won't find anything better.
Together with my wife we had a great time staying at Marina's place. We stayed there for 3 nights in the largest of the 3 villas. We were lucky enough to be the only guests at the time so we could also have the pool only to ourselves. The house is tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable and the helpful staff made sure that we had a good time. Overall we would like to repeat this experience and would recommend it to anyone wanting to escape the crowds in Bali.
Bali Marina Villas is exactly as it appears in the photos, it's beautiful and just across the road from the beach. We stayed in the spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa with full kitchen. We didn't actually use the kitchen much as there are plenty of places to eat in walking distance and the staff can bring you meals in the villa which is a lovely relaxing way to spend an evening. Meals are so cheap it's not really worth the trouble to shop and cook for yourself. I loved the location, as it's very quiet and you get to see the old Bali, it's completely different to spending time in the more popular areas of Bali, but I would choose it over them every time. There are black sand beaches which you can snorkel directly from or take a traditional fishing boat. If you want to get away from it all, this is the perfect place, but be warned there is no shopping and very little night life. Marina was fabulous to deal with, she answered all queries promptly and with grace. Although she wasn't around during our stay she communicated with Kadek, the property manager to check all was ok. She was also in contact with me after we'd been there a couple of days to check all was well. The staff were all extremely welcoming and always had a smile, nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this property.
Marina, Kadek, and co. helped make our trip to Amed one of the best vacation experiences I can recall. We stayed for only a night but left wishing we had allocated more time for our trip to Amed.
The villa itself is beautiful and offers an incredible view, especially at sunrise/sunset. There is easy access to the scuba shops in Amed. The staff were very helpful and kind. We enjoyed a few delicious meals at the villa as well.
We had an overall excellent experience and I would strongly recommend the place to anyone visiting the area.
We had the most exquisite time at Marinas. The staff were warm and welcoming, the pool nice and clear, the food great and the region spectacular. There in house restraunt / kitchen is easily one of the best place to eat. I would recommend travelers try and book the boughanvilia villa. It has a cozy little kitchen net attached. The fact that we got chilled wine and beer mugs as part of our little mini bar is an exple of attention to detail one does not often get to see. Keep up the good work guys.
