Kris's place was the first bed and breakfast we've ever stayed in and it was such a great experience! Her home was very beautiful and clean. She prepared delicious breakfast every morning that it made us want to go back to bed and sleep (: She even packed us food on the one day we had to leave early for our boat ride to Rainbow Bridge! We didn't run into any issues as far as sharing a bathroom with another couple. Kris also gave suggestions when it came to our plans during our stay and I'm so glad she did! We would've missed out on the breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon and fallen into the tourist trap that is called Four Corners Monument. We definitely recommend staying at Kris's if ever you're in Page.
Oh, how do I describe Kris and The Grandview Inn in such limited space? My partner and I have stayed in many airbnbs, and are hosts ourselves. We know well what we like, and what heightens our travelling experience. That being said - Kris and her inn are simply wonderful!! Unfortunately, our travels only allowed us to stay for one night. (We came to see Antelope Canyon, which is stunning, and a must-see.) We stayed in the Blue Sky Room, which is pretty, spacious and exactly as pictured. We felt like we were staying at a friend's house. Kris also served breakfast, which was creative and delicious! This was much appreciated, since it allowed us to continue our day's activities full force earlier than would have been possible without stopping for food elsewhere.
There is a very warm air (figurative, not literal) to the entire inn. At one point, after sitting a while on the couch in her welcoming living room area, I said (out loud), "I feel like I live here." I can't remember another airbnb shared space experience where I felt so comfortable and "at home". We were sad to have to leave so soon, but definitely plan to return. We would highly recommend Kris and The Grandview Inn for a special experience you will not soon forget.
Kris was a great host and gave us a great welcome, both me and my partner felt very comfortable whilst at her beautiful home. Our breakfast was delicious and she gave us some good tips about our onward journey which meant we could fit more in during our time away.
We would highly recommend staying here and it was a great base to explore some of the great places around Page.
Thanks again Kris!
Stayed for one night only and it was not enough to enjoy what this great place has to offer. The Inn has everything we needed, comfortable, clean, spacious, and centrally located.
