This authentic cozy studio apartment is part of a charming 17th-century canal house in the heart of Amsterdam! It also has its own entrance on the lowest floor. We prefer hosting non-cannabis smoking guests.
Please note that the oven/microwave and the clothingdryer are located in the other part of the house. We live in the other part of the house and are available to help or inform you.

The space
The studio offers all you need for a comfortable stay and is situated on the widest canal in Amsterdam. It is part of the house above but also has an own entrance.
There is free WiFi, TV, DVD player and a washing machine*. There is a kitchenette and a private bathroom with shower. The toilet is separate.
The bedroom is situated in the back of the studio and separated from the living-room by a cabinet and curtain. The second double bed (sleeping couch) is in the living room. There is also an extra fold-able 1 person bed. On request a bed for a baby/young child and a high chair and Lego are available. *Please Note: there is a dryer on a separate floor, which can be used for free (if for a couple of times)

There is a large DVD collection available that you are free to use.

Bed linen and towels are included.

No smoking inside the house.

The house is located in a residential area, so please consider the neighbors.



The location is really unique in a quiet area of the Nieuwmarkt/Lastage. There are numerous great bars, cafes, cozy restaurants, art galleries, shops, and various markets all around the corner!

On walking distance are:
• The Central Station (10 min)
• Metrostation "Nieuwmarkt" (2 min)
• The Rembrandt House (4 min)
• Dam square (10 min)
• Waterloo flea market (4 min)

Amsterdam is a great and lively city and when staying in this apartment you will be right in the middle of it! Enjoy your Amsterdam experience as a local!

"High scores on culture and environment shouldn't come as a surprise with Amsterdam. The city of canals, barges, flowers and free-thinking is a perennial favorite when it comes to living and visiting. There are enough museums, from Anne Frank to Van Gough, from the Rijksmuseum to Rembrandt's house, the Science Centre to the Museum of Bags and Purses for you to never see the light of day, but that would be a shame.
Mix it up and enjoy a trip on the canals in a brunch boat, shop at the Albert Cuyp Market and the flower market.
But most importantly, hire a bike and do as the locals do: go and explore the parks, along the canals, and outside of Amsterdam in this, probably the flattest country in the world."
