Very comfortable Guest House, perfect for 2 to 3 people. Near Dauphin Island beaches. Seafood available at the seafood shop on the property. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Nice getaway!
We cannot allow pets or service animals due to allergies.

The space
Nice for relaxing, reading or quiet meditation, watching birds, squirrels, (deer during winter), bicycling, walking, or kayaking on the river. Easy access to Dauphin Island beaches and the attractions there; restaurants, stores, etc.

Guest access
Seafood Shop located on same property for fresh shrimp, crab, and oysters.
If you like, you may even watch the "crab pickers" picking out fresh crabmeat. Watch the shrimp boat or crab boat coming in to unload their catch.

Other things to note
There is one full size bed and a very comfortable futon. If an extra guest is coming, we have a cot available with bedding for that also. We will need to know in advance if you will have more than 3 people staying.

The Shed is close to our dwelling, but private for you and your guests. There is another vacation rental The Mon Louis Island River Cottage nearby, but almost out of view. No other neighbors.

I own and operate a Seafood Business, Zirlott Seafood, with my daughter, Kate. I have worked in Commercial Fishing, Seafood Processing and the Wholesale of Seafood for 47+ years. We are the fifth and sixth generation from fishing families, both sides. Together we love offering and serving folks delicious seafood. I have 6 children and 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and love to have family gatherings at my home on lovely Fowl River
