VILLA CIEL is attached to our new home... but all yours, soundproofed, and completely private. In addition to your own entrance, you'll have 2 dedicated parking spaces, and even your own electric car charger. We'll provide maps of local trails you can hike to straight from your front door. Private tours of the vegetable farm and our property are also available... just ask!

MUSICIANS: We also have a small, modern recording studio with grand piano on the premises. Please inquire for details.

Other things to note
VILLA CIEL is near the end of a sleepy, private, one-lane (mostly) dirt road that winds along vineyards, farms, some private homes... and a few rude speed bumps! Please *always* drive slowly and carefully (10 MPH), as there are small children living in the area, and cars do kick up dust. Residents will appreciate your giving way should you come across them on the road.

(Please ignore the signs along the way, which are meant to deter those who are unfamiliar with the area, as there are no places to turn around for those who are lost!)

VILLA CIEL is well marked, at the very top of the hill, on the right, with a lighted keypad accessing a private gate.

Please note: In addition to our outdoor grill, in your kitchenette you'll find all the appliances and utensils you need to cook simple, delicious meals, plus essential condiments like our fantastic local olive oil and balsamic vinegar. There is no microwave oven.

VILLA CIEL is perfectly situated to take advantage of all that this special region offers. Located at the top of a quiet hill, we are secluded and serene, with breathtaking views all around. Yet we are only 10-15 minutes from some of the most incredible food — casual to elevated — available anywhere. And no more than 45 minutes away from numberless scenic towns, villages and hamlets... iconic tasting rooms... redwood groves and parks... pastures and prairies... and stunning Pacific Coast beaches.

The vibrant small town of Sebastopol, with its world-class eateries, wineries, breweries, distillers, its bookstores, antiques, theater company and art-cinema cineplex — and the amazing Barlow artisanal complex — is a mere 12 minutes down the road. Healdsburg — world-famous for its plaza, restaurants and unique shops — is a gorgeous 30-minute drive away across the Russian River and along the vineyard-studded Dry Creek Valley.

I'm a chef, food writer and former fashion designer originally from a French island in the South Pacific. My husband (a musician and writer) and I fell in love with this magical place on a vacation, and never looked back. My bliss is hosting friends, creating recipes from my veggie garden and orchard, tasting and sharing wines, and bringing beauty into the world in every way I can think of. Part of that is spreading our knowledge and enthusiasm about this extraordinarily beautiful, culturally rich area we now call home.
