This is a remote getaway, perfect for those wanting a relaxing quiet time away, surf retreat, or to enjoy outdoor activities. The cosy studio with own bathroom and kitchenette (bar fridge, induction hob, microwave) is situated behind our house. Guests have access to a separate vineyard deck with breathtaking views overlooking the vineyard and out to the sea. Five minutes drive to stunning Ruapuke surf beach. Thirty minutes drive from Raglan town. Tea, coffee and milk provided.

The space
Separate guest studio. The property offers stunning views of Ruapuke beach, farmland, native bush and Mount Karioi, and is located 30 minutes drive from Raglan township.

The Vineyard was planted in 2018, consisting of mostly Syrah and some Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. Our first significant harvest is planned for 2022 however we have a small amount of exclusive 2021 wine which will only be available for purchase by guests staying with us from 15th of November 2021.

Please note, this is a working family vineyard and noisy activities such as spraying will be undertaken at times.

There are a host of outdoor activities nearby including surfing, hiking up Mt Karioi or around Te Toto Gorge, visiting Bridal Veil Falls, sightseeing along the coast and mountain biking along Whaanga Coastal Road.

We recommend you take advantage of the outdoor BBQ provided and bring along BBQ food so that you have the maximum time to enjoy your stay. The room also includes a kitchenette with single plug in hob, microwave, fridge, sink and all the basic utensils. Tea, coffee and milk supplied.

Our fresh rainwater is filtered and UV sterilised making it very safe to drink.

There is a ceiling fan situated over the bed to keep you cool on those hot nights. An oil heater is provided also for the winter.

A TV, books, magazines, and several board games are provided in the room for your entertainment. Free wifi is available for all guests. The room has a 55 inch TV with Netflix available for guest use.

The guest space is situated behind our family home and we are normally available if you need anything.
