Neighborhood highlights

The historic Houston Heights is the most pedestrian neighborhood in Houston, and is chock full of gorgeous turn of the century Victorian mansions and Craftsman bungalows (while this stellar "exactly as advertised" apartment is situated on a property with a restored 1920 bungalow, it is a new apartment). The immediate neighborhood is walking distance from nearly 40 connected miles of hike and bike trails, and steps from a beautiful tree-shaded 2 mile jogging trail on historic, beautiful Heights boulevard, and several parks. Also walking distance from many chic and well reviewed fine dining restaurants, independent coffee shops, top notch casual counter order dining restaurants, burger joints, ice cream parlors, and historic Downtown Heights with its kitschy shops and boutiques. This apartment is situated smack dab in the CENTER of the historic Heights, which is why I live on this property myself in the main house.
