This small, charming wooden house is situated with a beautiful view over rice fields. Located on the edge of a small village, it offers a perfect mix of living in tropical nature with fast access to the city center of Yogyakarta.

The space
THE HOUSE
Rumah Gladak - this is how the house is historically named - has originally been used to store and dry rice grains. We placed this sweet little house in a nice spot of our land with a vast view over the rice fields.

Rumah Gladak is a simply furnished space with a bamboo bed of 140 x 200 cm perfect for one person or two persons. Adjuncted to the house is a private, spacious open- air bathroom integrated in a small tropical garden. We provide eco-friendly, home-made natural soaps.

A few steps away from Rumah Gladak is a kitchen for your private use only, equipped with a small fridge, basic kitchen tools, coffee, tea and a small dining area surrounded by the garden.

FOOD SERVICE
We offer breakfast, prepared by our staff. We also arrange delivery of traditional food from the village and close-by restaurants for lunch and dinner.

For breakfast, we focus on local products. You can choose between: bread and eggs , rice porridge with spicy tempeh sauce, Rice flour porridge with banana or Nasi Goreng (fried rice). Every breakfast is served with tea or coffee (coffee will be from our own coffee roastery) and a selection of tropical fruits.

MASSAGE
We arrange massage for guests by massage therapists from the village. On request, our staff is making an apointment for a massage. During the Pandemic, massage is still possible. We work with a company, which follows the COVID protocol tightly and is testing their staff regularly.

YOGA and PILATES
We run a movement studio next to the guesthouse with weekly classes. If you are interested, please let us know and we inform you about the current schedule. We can also set up a private Yoga or Pilates class. Please give us notice in advance so we have time to check availability of teachers.
