Newfield, New York, United States

Come enjoy. It is very quiet. We are close to Treman, Buttermilk And Taughannock State Parks which all have swimming. Watkins Glen State Park and racetrack is half an hour away. The park is breathtakingly magnificent. Also great cross country skiing, walking and hunting nearby at Connecticut Hill downhill. Also downhill skiing at Greek Peak 45 minutes away if you are winter campers. We are 14 miles from Cornell University and 10 miles from Ithaca College. We are between two finger lakes, Cayuga and Seneca, there are 60 wineries and breweries around the lakes.Woman’s Rights National Museum in Seneca Falls, Corning Museum of Glass is fabulous. Ithaca has theatres, museums for art and kids and a public pool on lake.
Or simply hang out and enjoy our ten private acres of forest with a creek and pond. You must pack in and out your garbage and bury your toilet paper or we will have to charge a $35 cleaning fee. We have wood again or for purchase if you want. And drinkable well water from a hoes you can use.

A well travelled extrovert, I love the arts and entertainment as well as the outdoors. We love to share our land and what we are creating as well as help you find the right activities for your visit. I graduated from nearby Cornell University and have my Masters in Depth Psychology from Pacific Graduate Institute in Summerland, CA.
We moved here from Ojai CA for the seasons, rain, land and a quiet outdoor life. Bob has been a master carpenter, builder, artist and craftsman his whole life. He doesn’t like to do he same thing twice and has a great breath of talent. He is on the Ithaca Art Trail and has turned our forest into a park and campground with trails.
