We've built our dream home and want to share it with you. This is our home, not a hotel or guesthouse, and you will be welcomed as we welcome friends. We are located off the beaten track in rural farmland near Doi Inthanon National Park.

Relax in our tranquil garden, explore the hiking and biking trails, waterfalls, scenic view points, ethnic minority villages, learn Thai home cooking from Pansa and learn photography with us ... or just sit in peace and quiet and read a good book!

The space
This is our dream home. It is spacious and comfortable. Surrounded by our gardens and the neighbor's rice fields and longan orchards will stunning panoramic mountain views.

We have two guest rooms. Each room must be booked separately. The price displayed is the per room price. Suitable for two people (one king size bed.)

The two guest rooms have;
comfortable king sized beds with quality pillows,
air conditioning or fan (as a/c is not always necessary as the temperatures here are often cool at night,)
Mosquito nets,
Private bathroom with hot shower,
TV and DVD player with a selection of movies available,
Closets,
Private, lockable entrances.

One of the rooms has a private porch above it which is an ideal place to relax with a cocktail and enjoy the sunset.

Our gardens are planted with over 100 fruit trees. At the back there's a fish pond and beyond that a small stream and rice fields, which are exquisitely beautiful during the rainy season.

Where you’ll be

Ban Luang, Chiang Mai, Thailand

Our neighborhood is rural! We are surrounded by rice farms and longan orchards. The neighbors are super friendly, so don't be shy to smile and say Hi to them.

The region is laced with small roads and track, ideal for using our two bicycles to go exploring.

There's a number of Buddhist temples nearby, all with their own character and pints of interest. The village nearby has numerous small convenience stores and some street food is available there in the evenings. There's a couple of small restaurants in the area also.

I am a Kiwi (New Zealander) living in Thailand since 2002 and married to my beautiful, awesome wife, Pansa.

We've been blessed to build our dream home and we want to share it with you.

We are both professional photographers and photography teachers. Part of our desire is to use our home base to share our love of photography and teach photography. Being creative is who we are.

We love gardening and have planted over 100 fruit trees on our property in the first 6 months after purchasing it. We embrace permaculture and organic methods to provide a diverse living space for you, ourselves, our two dogs, birds and other creatures and plants around us. Eventually, we hope most of the fruit and vegetables we serve at our table will be picked fresh from our own garden.

We love to make, eat and share good food - both Thai and Western. Pansa can be available to teach you some Thai home cooking.

We love to travel. I've traveled extensively throughout SE Asia and Pansa and I have journeyed many places through Thailand, Myanmar and New Zealand together. I also hitchhiked 7000km across Canada the first time I left NZ, but that's another whole story.
