Here is nice place to stay with beautiful and safe neighborhood. Kate was nice and described us well how we could find and come into the room although we arrived late like 1 in the morning. The bed frame is different from the picture but everything else is the same.
Kate was a very welcoming host. The place is conveniently located in Lake Oswego, a very short walk to many restaurants and the main shopping area. The room we were given was very simple and we slept well because it is such a nice quiet neighborhood.
Kate was nice and communicative via email before we arrived but as a whole we did not enjoy our 2-night stay at Kate's. The kitchen was grimy and covered in filth so we felt uncomfortable trying to make eggs for breakfast. The bed sloped in the middle so that two people rolled towards each other the whole night. The listing promised shampoo but the bathroom didn't have that or even soap to wash our hands.
The truth is that as soon as we arrived we were anxious to get out of there and spent little to no time in the house because we were so uncomfortable.
It was a real pleasure staying at Kate's place. It was easy to make check-in arrangements and she was very accommodating to my arrival schedule. The neighborhood is very quiet and within convenient walking distance to downtown. I enjoyed walking to town for coffee in the mornings and for dinner in the evenings. Lots of locals also out for walks or jogs and lots of friendly "good mornings" were said.
I stayed for two nights and enjoyed my time. I felt very welcomed and Kate was flexible with the check-in time. This helped as I drove up from southern Oregon with a weather storm alert that day. She communicated very well with me too. Also, the neighborhood is very safe. Overall I would recommend staying with Kate.
