Charming 130-year-old cottage (90 m²) with a modern yet cosy feel. Two renowned spas (Yasuragi & Skepparholmen) within walking distance. Bottom floor: kitchen and dining area with classic wood stove, living room and bathroom. Your own garden and spacious wooden deck—perfect for sunbathing or BBQs.
Set in a beautiful area with a crystal-clear lake for bathing just 200 m away, with a nature reserve surrounding it. Sea dock ~700 m. 30 minutes to Stockholm by Waxholm boat, bus or car.

The space
This is a 130 year old cottage, that we took down piece by piece and built up again on our property. It has all necessary facilities. The bottom floor is furnished with a kitchen, a living room and a bathroom. The upper floor is mainly bedrooms, one big and a smaller. The total living area is about 90 square meters, with alltogether 6 beds available.

Guest access
You will have the house for yourself, including a big porch (~ 8*5 m) where you for example can sit and have a barbeque or just sunbath. The house has its own garden and is situated in between pines. There is also a parking area for your car. We live at walking distance from the cottage.

Other things to note
There are two Spa:s in the area within walking distance. These are Skepparholmen Spa, which is facing the sea, and Yasuragi Spa which is renowned for its Japanese style Spa. Many guests enjoy these, and of course they also offer dining etc.
We do as well have a sauna outside of the cottage, which is mainly used during spring, autumn and winter. After a sauna, you could cool off in the nearby lake.
Generally, the area around the cottage is beautiful and relaxing, with a natural reserve just bordering the property.

Where you’ll be

Boo, Stockholms län, Sweden

There is a fantastic and crystal clear lake just 170 m away from the house. It is probably the best lake in this part of Stockholm for swimming, staying with friends or children etc. It lies beautifully in the forest which is a natural reserv. We taught our children to swim in this lake. About 700 m down the road you find the small dock, where the "Waxholmsboat" (the ferry) will take you either to the Stockholm City in about 30 minutes or out to the archipelago of Stockholm (in the Baltic Sea). There are two SPAs less than a kilometer away from the cottage, one is the famous "Yasuragi" (japanese spa, and the other is the more classic "Skepparholmens Spa". Why not stay in the cottage overnight while just taking a day at the SPA?
