The space

Our three bedroom river cottage is a short drive (12-15 minutes) from the beautiful white sand beaches of Dauphin Island, and only 30 minutes from Mobile. When you arrive you'll feel like you are miles away! The home is located on a private waterfront site, along beautiful West Fowl River. Bring your fishing pole or kayak/canoe, because the fishing is great! The kitchen is well equipped and the large table is great for family dinners! There is a large screeened in area under the house, with picnic tables, seating area, and ping-pong table, as well as an upstairs screened in porch. Yes, there are mosquitoes at times, so bring some bug spray and enjoy the screen porches!

We are located near Zirlott's Seafood, so fresh shrimp and delicious gourmet foods are a short walk from the house!

We are a 5 mile drive from beautiful Bellingrath Gardens.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire home, except for the owner closet and the under-house storage (also owner storage). Enjoy!

I own and operate a Seafood Business, Zirlott Seafood, with my daughter, Kate. I have worked in Commercial Fishing, Seafood Processing and the Wholesale of Seafood for 47+ years. We are the fifth and sixth generation from fishing families, both sides. Together we love offering and serving folks delicious seafood. I have 6 children and 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and love to have family gatherings at my home on lovely Fowl River
