The Red Hen Cottage invites you! With amenities like hot tub and EV charging station. 2 miles to downtown Asheville, 6 miles to Biltmore, and skiing (30min). Tucked into the local environment of Breweries/Local business/Industrial/Art Studios/Tubing/Music and more! You will find Asheville's influence with food and art in mind, new kitchen appliances and handcrafted counters and bar stools. The space
This cozy, clean cottage is just 2 miles from downtown Asheville (that's an $8 uber cab ride!). Beautifully renovated, with two queen bedrooms (and a pull out twin trundle bed), one full bath, dine-in gourmet kitchen and comfortable living room, a fenced in yard with outdoor space, outdoor chairs and 4 person hot tub! This space comfortably accommodates 5 guests with amenities like soap, toilet paper, towels, spices, sugar etc. There is also a generous amount of specially designed furniture and accents made of up-cycled pallets and steel by local artist Brian Monteleone. Close to river activities like tubing and kayaking yet just outside of all the hustle. Located on a semi-industrial stretch of road along the French Broad River highly traveled by avid road cyclists. Be among the first to stay in this lovely little home. In 2018 we joined efforts with local artist Brian Monteleone to purchase this little gem and it's surrounding property. We purchased this property with the intention of providing an alternative to folks wanting to come and visit our beautiful area and not stay in a hotel. We love taking old properties and loving them back to life. This home is situated in a very unique location . It has that urban, industrial vibe , but it's cool and charming at the same time. We hope you enjoy the attention to detail, creativity, and love that went into this project.

The entire fenced in property is only for our guests.
Next door is a quaint small batch brewery and bbq that can't be beat. During some warm evenings you can enjoy live music, but not to worry it all
closes down at 9pm so you can get a restful night.

*Just a quick note that while we always do our best to make every stay great, we’re not able to offer refunds for things outside of our control like weather, power, or internet outages. For extra peace of mind, we do recommend adding travel insurance at checkout, which can help cover those unexpected situations.

property against guest-caused, accidental damage with the Safely Protection
Policy. The cost of this protection has been included as the Trust and Safety Fee
in your rental rate.

As a property in the mountains, you may come across wildlife during your stay including but not limited to, bears, snakes, bats, insects, elk, etc. Our local wildlife is part of what makes this area so special!

This home is located right along the new up and coming river corridor in Woodfin, NC. Riverside Rhapsody microbrewery is next door and is open some weekdays and weekends from 2pm to 9pm offering drinks and Iron Oak BBQ smoker is sure to please with amazing brisket and southern sides.
The Semi-Industrial/Residential area was the perfect location for revitalization and convenience to all of Asheville's amenities without having to deal with the high nightly prices downtown hotels.
