Featured in Country Living Magazine October 2018: This stone house —hand-hewn by its property owner with rock from the property’s quarry—offers a charm that can't be beat. Sitting on 280 acres, the property is a respite from city life.

The space
This Post WWII stone house was hand-hewn by its original owner who spent 10 years digging through the rocks on the property's quarry. Updated at the beginning of 2014, this working farm is within a half-day's journey to numerous Upper Cumberland attractions, trails, and waterfalls. If guests prefer access to the urban, a Nashville, Knoxville or Chattanooga trip is within one and a half hours (1.5 hours) journey. Numerous golf courses are a stone's throw as well. Guests will be delighted by the farm animals and gravel drive.

Allergy season can be taxing on some, so if you're prone to pollen disturbances, bring Zyrtec.

Please note that we allow dogs, but we ask that you be an extremely cautious and respectful pet owner. We ask that you crate unattended animals (especially at night if they are known to roam or to chew) and that in no circumstance should your animal be left alone without supervision. We have gone to great lengths to furnish the cabin for a luxury experience, and damages can be expensive and no fun.

To keep costs as low as possible, we supply a one-two day supply of basics such as laundry pods, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, roll of paper towels, 2-3 Keurig pods if your unit has a Keurig. We keep bulk shampoo, body wash and conditioner in each bathroom. We generally supply one towel and one washcloth per sleeper. We appreciate your stay! Should you need more consumables, we’ll gladly direct you to the closest pantry supply store so that you may purchase more for your stay

Farm setting. Cows are usually seen off in the distance. Crops grow, turkeys graze, deer nibble.

I began hosting in 2013, way, way back when Airbnb was in its infancy. My family and I had just purchased land with a farmhouse on its edge, a run-down but structurally solid house with the most charming hand-hewn stones from the property's quarry. We couldn't live in the house, but we renovated, furnished, and rented it to nightly guests. Years later, my staff and I manage over thirty homes, all with the same excitement and care! Warmly, Anna
