The space
The house was built in 1930. In 2017 it was renovated and divided into two separate spaces of 25 square meters. The architectural design of the spaces was curated by Nikolakis and Vatistas Antivachis (father and son of third and fourth generation builders respectively, in fact the opposite church of Ypapanti was built with the first master builder Nikolaki Antivachi who is the grandfather of Vatistas) which was preserved intact to the greatest extent possible with the characteristic benches (built sofas) in the yard, the niches (wall recesses inside the house for storing objects), the skylight (opening for natural lighting of the premises), the built-in bed, the characteristic double entrance door with the portello (upper part of the door that also functions as a window), the necessary well in the courtyard when water was scarce, the ornate woven straw ceiling with the beams (thick beams supporting the roof) that you can't get enough of looking at as you lie down. The artistic curation belongs to Katerina Antivachi, granddaughter of Mrs. Kate, to whom it belonged in the past. The paintings, the bright, fragrant flowers of the garden and all kinds of decorations inside and out are unique and have been made with effort and passion to make you feel a truly unique hospitality experience.

Other things to note
The double bed is 1.35x2 meters in size.

Neighborhood highlights

The neighborhood is very quiet and the rest of the houses around are privately owned by locals. It is located at the end of the village's ring road and next to the main cobblestone road that crosses the whole village.
Two beautiful short trails for walkers.
About 3 km away is the unique stone-built bridge of the island on an amazing route with wide and snake cobbled path in the area of Pano Klima.
Again at a distance of 3 km is the church of the pantokrator built on the small plateau of Xaplovouni hill just after the mills with an amazing view of the endless blue.
