Our home is 18 miles south of downtown Livingston, just off I-90, and 38 miles north of Yellowstone. National Park
While our official address is Livingston, we’re near the peaceful community of Pray, where Livingston and Pray join together on Chicory Road.
Please take a moment to review our location on the map before booking. We’re not in downtown. We offer a quiet, scenic home base on a county road. Thank you for helping us keep reviews accurate!
The space
Welcome to Paradise Valley, where adventure and relaxation await! Our location offers easy access to unlimited hiking trails, whitewater rafting, fly-fishing, mountain biking, hot springs, day spas, gift shops, guided tours, rock climbing, and even kayaking on a nearby lake.
Enjoy a breathtaking 54-mile scenic drive through our stunning valley, where you’ll witness incredible wildlife and take in some of the most spectacular views in the area. This route leads you to the Northwest Entrance of Yellowstone National Park in Gardiner, Montana.
About Your Stay
Our separate Home-Share area features three private bedrooms. You’ll be booking one private bedroom, which includes a king bed for two guests—or, if requested at booking, it can be converted into two XL twin beds for your convenience.
The guest space includes a spacious shared common room, complete with a cozy living area that seats six people and a TV. The dining area seats four guests and offers a self-serve breakfast bar with coffee, tea, a microwave, a toaster, a mini fridge, a hot water kettle, and a hot/cold water dispenser.
While we do not provide a full kitchen, we offer a microwave and toaster for quick meals. We also supply disposable plates, bowls, cups, napkins, and utensils for your convenience.
The shared bathroom is well-maintained, with minimal wait times. Please contact us if this becomes a concern. It includes a sink, tub/shower combination, and a lock on the door to ensure your privacy.
Your Private Room
Your private bedroom is designed for comfort and includes:
A lock on your door for privacy
A single-cup Keurig coffee maker with coffee pods, creamer, and sugar
Complimentary snacks and bottled water
A TV, microwave, and mini fridge for your convenience
You’ll have access to a separate, well-lit guest entrance with easy self-check-in instructions provided upon booking.
Outdoor Amenities
Step outside and enjoy the fresh mountain air!
Start your morning at one of the picnic tables on the front patio, sipping coffee as the sun rises over the eastern mountain range.
Relax on the front and backyard patios, where you’ll find seating, a BBQ grill, and a firepit (available unless a local fire ban is in place).
Our peaceful mountain setting is perfect for unwinding and soaking in nature.
While we are on a county road with light traffic, the charm and tranquility of our location make for a truly relaxing getaway.
Please note: Tables and chairs are removed during winter months for snowplowing and shoveling.

Our designated guest parking area is well-lit for your convenience upon arrival.
Enjoy stunning views from both our front and backyard, where you can relax, fire up the BBQ, or gather around a cozy campfire. The property is surrounded by wildflowers, attracting butterflies and gentle honeybees, adding to the peaceful, natural ambiance.
Prime Location Near Yellowstone River
Our home is located on Chicory Road Fishing Access, which is open for use. The Yellowstone River is just a short walk away via State Land Access (walk-in only), making it perfect for fly-fishing, wildlife spotting, and peaceful nature walks.
Your Hosts & Privacy
We, the owners, live on-site but in a separate private wing of the house. Your privacy is our priority, and we’ll always respect your space. However, we love meeting guests, so if you see us out and about, feel free to say hello! Otherwise, you’re welcome to enjoy the space at your own pace.
Check-In & Communication
We’re happy to personally greet you on your arrival day to help you get acquainted with the property. However, if we’re unavailable, we provide easy self-check-in instructions for a smooth arrival. You’ll have access to a private guest entrance for added convenience.
If you need anything, we’re just a text message away through the app! Please note that if we’re in Yellowstone National Park, cell service may be limited. If you don’t hear back right away, leave us a message, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we’re back in range.

Our valley is an outdoor lover’s paradise, offering scenic hiking trails, breathtaking waterfalls, relaxing hot springs, horseback riding adventures, mysterious caves, and a stunning lake perfect for kayaking or fishing. As an avid hiker, I’d be happy to recommend the best day hikes, picnic spots, and kayak-friendly waters to help you make the most of your visit.
Just 45 minutes west, Bozeman is a great destination for a day trip, offering museums, boutique shopping, and a vibrant food scene.
If you’re a fan of fly-fishing or spin-fishing, you’re in luck! Some of the best fishing spots on the Yellowstone River are just a 10-minute walk from our back door.
Local Dining & Entertainment
After a day of exploring Yellowstone National Park or casting a line in the river, be sure to check out the local restaurants just 10 minutes away. You’ll find delicious food and live music year-round, making for the perfect way to end your adventure-filled day.

Both my husband and I work seasonal jobs in the fall in one of the most remote locations in the lower 48 states as wilderness backcountry cooks and hunting guides.

Please note: Our property is not suitable or safe for infants and children due to multiple unavoidable hazards.
These include electric fencing, open livestock water troughs, free-ranging livestock and small farm animals (permitted by state law), and active farm equipment such as tractors and vehicles that may be in operation, BBQ Grills are within access to children and may be hot, The Yellowstone River is exposed and is within walking distance of our property.
Inside the home, beds do not meet child safety railing standards, furniture is not anchored to walls, window blinds are present in each room, and hot appliances like coffee makers and kettles are within reach of children. Additionally, shared refrigerators may contain items that are not appropriate for unsupervised access.
These risks make the environment potentially dangerous for children, and for their safety, we cannot accommodate infants or children at this property. We appreciate your understanding and your help in maintaining a safe space for all guests.
