Welcome to TBR. New one night summer stay avaliable. 2 1/2 acre ranch living under starry nights, echo's of coyotes and days filled with blue skies. 3 burros to welcome you every morning. Roomy 1 bedroom ranch house. Bright fresh and clean home. Full kitchen and 3/4 bathroom. WIFI 15mpbs, 2 TV, DVD. Covered patio, grill and fire pit. Hot tub, horseshoes. A peaceful quiet getaway with donkeys. 10 to 30 mins away from Joshua Tree, National Park, Pioneer town, 29 Palms & Palm Springs.

No pets allowed, because it is very disruptive to the animals that live here. My animals peace and happiness is my top priority and so everyone who visits can enjoy the donkeys too.
We believe you will enjoy this memorable peaceful and quiet visit to the desert with all it has to offer and starry nights. Don't forget the best part 3 burros at your back door and the experience of feeding them carrots.

Guest access
You will have full private use of your ranch house and the surrounding yard. Jacuzzi, binoculars for star gazing and fire pit on non- windy days (wood provided).
We are unique at Tres Burros Ranch because we can provide you with an up close and personal experience with our 3 burros. You can even hand feed them carrots from behind the fence. An experience you won't soon forget.

Other things to note
I want you to have a wonderful, relaxing and memorable experience. Please treat our bunk house and it's contents with respect. I work very hard to provide a clean and pleasant stay for everyone. (NO dogs or pets allowed and NO smoking indoors. A $175 cleaning fee will be charged if pet hair or the smell of smoke is found.) If we see a pet you will be asked to leave immediately. No body paint like Henna or temporary hair color as it stains the sheets, towels and furniture.

We are not allowing minors (anyone under 18) at this time.

Sorry No pets allowed. We have many animals on the ranch and when a strange animal is on the property it is very disruptive to the animals that live here. It causes stress and injury to my animals which i love very much. Their peace and happiness to top priority to me.

If for any reason the jacuzzi is not treated with respect, rules not followed and becomes damaged or the water fouled, I will contact a professional for an emergency cleaning and the guest will be charged $200.00 for the cleaning, water to fill the tub and the power to reheat it. On the off chance the jacuzzi needs repairs and can't be used the guest will be notified at booking and or before your arrival. NO bath bombs, soap/bubble bath, tanning lotion, sun block or other products on the skin allowed. Showering is recommended before and after a dip in the jacuzzi.

Please respect the Check out time of 11 A.M. If you stay past 11:15 a.m. you agree to be charged $50.00 for every 15 minute increments. I am the cleaner and I immediately start at 11:15 a.m. to make sure every guest gets a clean fresh house.
No professional photography or videos without permission and a fee will be written in document form and signed by both parties.

Trash cans provided outside of patio next to propane tank for extra trash, please close lid because of critters and wind.
Firewood provided for the fire pit, but only allowed on non-windy days.
A.C. is a swamp cooler with down drafts. Not a true refrigeration unit, but works beautifully in our desert climate. Experience what residents of the desert have used to stay cool for decades.

Let us introduce ourselves, I am Kerry and my husband Jeff Drozd of Tres Burros Ranch. Jeff has been a resident of the desert for 47 years. Jeff is also a blogger, Mojo on the Mojave Desert for Desert USA.
Both Jeff and I live at Tres Burros Ranch, the main house is about 120 feet from the 800 sf mini ranch house which is where you would stay and offers privacy and security. The Ranch has been in the family since 1976.
Come stay in a clean, safe environment, feed carrots to our three beautiful Burro ladies and enjoy the surroundings of the Hi-Desert.
Once you drive down about 300 feet off a short dirt road you will arrive. We have wild bunnies, jackrabbits and squirrels. Coyotes are sometimes seen and often howl at night. There are many birds chirping in the morning with the occasional Raven, Roadrunner, Quail, Owls and Hawks making their distinctive noises. There have been sightings of a few larger mammals in the area. You may see, hear or feel the vibration of training exercises on the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center based in 29 Palms. If the cloudless sky permits, on nights with no moon you will see millions of stars, bring a telescope if you have one, you will not be disappointed. A real treat is hearing the burros braying in anticipation for a snack or meal from us or directly from your hands to their mouth. They will want carrots from YOU!
You will be 5, 10 or 15 minutes away from the Joshua Tree National Park, Pioneertown and the famous Pappy and Harriets at Pioneertown Palace. 30 minutes from the Palm Springs Tram. 10 plus degrees cooler than the Palm Springs area in summer and 10 degrees warmer than Big Bear in winter. Occasional winter snows and summer days are under 100 degrees most often, much of summer we are cooler than the Los Angeles Inland Empire.
