This beautiful cottage is constructed with comfort and relaxation in mind. It is located in the Hill Country - Wimberley Valley in Texas. This is the second cottage of two located on the Vintage Oaks Farm property. It has a great little kitchen with everything you need to cook or entertain friends. CORONAVIRUS CLEANING PROTOCOL

By its nature, Vintage Oaks Farm is well suited to limit exposure to others. Our cabins are situated more than 250 feet apart from one another in a wooded area, and guests do not typically interact with other guests or staff. However, in this time of heightened awareness, we have implemented several ADDITIONAL practices to mitigate risks and supplement our regular cleaning regimen. For those of you interested in the details of these new protocols, we’ve set out a summary below:

Check-in interactions

- your check-in and check-out will be self-directed via text messaging, so that you do not need to see anyone at all during your stay.

Hand washing- all housekeeping staff wash hands before handling clean linens and towels and at onset and completion of every cleaning process

Laundry- all laundry is sanitized at an offsite laundry facility using a laundry detergent and sanitizer additive

Latex gloves - all housekeeping staff wear latex gloves when removing sheets and towels and cleaning bathrooms, and all gloves are removed before touching other surfaces

Disinfectant - prior to each check-in isopropyl alcohol spray is applied to all:
- handles and knobs
- faucets
- light switches
- a/c filters
- remote controls

Spacing Out Bookings - When possible, we are blocking the 24 hour period before each new booking in order to allow more time for our cleaners to clean and then leave the cabin empty with no person entering for 24 hours.

Our goal is to keep our cabins and farm up and running as a safe option for people as ‘social isolation” and “shelter in place” mandates become our reality. Wifi is weak at the cabins. Our Carrier is AT&T and their hotspots on your device seem to work the best.

Please know that the health and well being of our guests is a top priority at Vintage Oaks Farm. We welcome your questions. Thank you for choosing Vintage Oaks Farm, and let's all stay healthy!

Things To Do In Wimberley ~ WImberley Valley Chamber of Commerce

Wimberley is blessed with a location on the banks of Cypress Creek and the Blanco River surrounded by the Texas Hill Country. As a result, there are great outdoor activities nearby. Click here for our EVENT Calendar.

Shopping
Wimberley is full of unique shops that offer traditional and not-so-traditional art and wares. Although the primary shopping areas are clustered around the “Square”, there are also shops sprinkled throughout other areas. The first Saturday of each month, March through December, Market Days draws visitors from around the state.

Theatre
Many rural towns had outdoor movie theaters years ago. Wimberley still has one. The Corral Theatre features first run movies every Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from Memorial Day through Labor Day. You can even bring your own chair. Call (512) 847-2513 or visit www.corraltheatre.com for shows and times. If your taste runs to live theatre, try the EmilyAnn Theatre or the Wimberley Players for year round theatrical events.

Site-Seeing
For those who just like to walk and see the sites, Wimberley is full of beautiful views and rich history. A pause at the bridge over Cypress Creek and — for the more vigorous — a hike up the steps to the top of Old Baldy, are ways to appreciate nature and beautiful scenic vistas while in Wimberley.

Additional Activities
