Wake up to the ever-changing view of Firth of Clyde, enjoy your breakfast and morning coffee by our panoramic windows and discover the beautiful nature of Argyll and Bute. In the evening enjoy a game in our pool room and sip a glass of wine by the fireplace.

The space
A cozy double bedroom with private bathroom and beautiful panoramic sea view across Firth of Clyde and to the hills beyond.

We designed it to make you feel comfortable, relaxed and close to nature.

We kindly ask you to read thoroughly the whole description and all the details to avoid any misunderstanding.

In the morning we provide you a basic breakfast including cereals, jam, bread, butter, milk, orange juice, tea & coffee.
For an extra charge of £5/person we can also provide a cold plate with various salamis, cheese, boiled egg and vegetables. If you wish to choose this option, please let us know when you book, so we can arrange that.
If you have food allergies we can prepare with gluten-free bread and plant-based milk options.
We don't provide cooked breakfast, but you're welcome to use the guest kitchen anytime to prepare your own meal.
(This applies if you book after theI 31st of July.)

You can pack light when you visit us, we provide you with the basics to take a relaxing hot shower (towels, soap, shampoo, body lotion and shower gel).

Our 7 bedroom and 4 public rooms Victorian Villa was built in 1839 and it's located directly by the shore and offers you a magical experience away from the business of big cities, but close enough to cozy cafes, pubs, theatre, cinema and shops.

We are located in Hunters Quay, few steps away from Western Ferries and walking distance to Kirn. Dunoon is 5 min by car, app. 15 min by public transport and 30 min by walk.

Nature is all around, you don’t have to travel far to experience hiking, cycling, water sports (you can borrow our paddle boards), or you can just simply enjoy the view from our bench and sip a cup of coffee.

We do not provide TV's in our home, but we have plenty of books to read, a record collection to listen to, board games, darts and billiard.

We are happy to help you plan your holiday to make your stay as perfect as possible.

Guest access
While we are available most of the time to help you with anything you need, we also respect your privacy and want to make you feel at home.

You’ll have access to a huge spacious guest living room, a well-equipped guest kitchen, game room with billiard, darts, roulette and various board games.

You are welcome to join us in the Lounge where you can enjoy the fireplace on a rainy evening while listening vinyls on the turntable.

Apart from your own private bathroom, there are also 2 other bathrooms in public areas.

Behind the house, there is a nice big garden full of plants, old trees and a bench with an amazing view and calmness, perfect spot on a sunny day with a book.

There is also a rooftop terrace with 360° view over the surrounding nature. Why don’t you use this space to do some yoga or simply just meditate and breathe in the fresh salty air?

Other things to note
As we mentioned before, this is an old villa built in 1839. We are doing our best to continuously renew and refresh everything, but please bear in mind there is a difference between a brand new building and an old historic house with tiny imperfections

Also, we would like to warn you that this is not a pet-free household, we are sharing our home with our two beloved cats, so this listing is not suitable for people with cat allergy.

Please remember when you book that we don't provide TV neither in our rooms, nor at the public areas.

All my life I was dreaming about a place like Dunoon. I love the fresh salty air, the sound of waves, the magical window views and the kindness of locals. We moved here with my husband last year and we are living the dream! I’m an artist & wardrobe stylist with previous hospitality experience in hotels around Scotland. To run our own Airbnb is an amazing adventure, making our home cozy and stylish is the greatest challenge and we both enjoy the interaction with our guests. I love nature and I’m constantly working on turning our place into a green, peacful home full of plants. If you’re looking for more than a traditional b&b, you are coming to the right place!:)
