Our six-bedroom farmhouse and its outbuildings are situated on 250 acres on a rural road with rolling hills and trees.

We are situated near the little Schuylkill River, Hawk Mountain and the Appalachian Trail.

Stock up on groceries, adult beverages, pet food at Tilden Square, North on Route 61 ( 10 min. drive). Also look for Cabellas, Starbucks, TACO BELL and other fast food restaurants there.

Hike. Grill. Picnic. Swim. Fish. Play. Read. Sleep. Stay at Mimms; see you there!

The space
We do not book Mimm's to other guests during your stay here.

We charge $35 for every additional guest including pet(s) per night.

Also, if your child walks and is 12 mos or older it is considered a guest ( not an infant) at Mimms. Thank you for understanding.

Guest access
Your space features a large eat-in kitchen (it is stocked with dishes, pots and pans and cooking tools to prepare meals). The kitchen has a sitting/reading area with TV and a private computer room.

Also on the first floor is a living room with sofa and two chairs, a wood stove and a powder room. This is the space where you might hear my mom talking on her phone or having a heart to heart conversation with her dog or bird. She is 82 and very friendly, be nice to her if you see her outside.

Upstairs we have six bedrooms and two bathrooms. Clean bed linens, (new My Pillows on each bed!) and towels are provided for our guests.

My husband and I live about a mile away from Mimms (on the west side of Rauschs Road). You might see my husband with his farm hands or seasonal workers in the fields.

I visit Mimms everyday to feed and care for the animals at the barn, ignore me or say hi it's a good time to meet.

PET FEES and RULES

All dogs must be leashed. You can walk them off the leash along the railroad bed across the street.

Our pet fee is $35 per night for one dog -- $70 for two dogs etc.

No dogs upstairs, no dogs on beds, no dogs on the sofa.

NO DOGS IN THE POOL

Please use the safety gate (stored in the office in the kitchen) to keep your pet from running up the stairs.

There is a metal can at the side of our shed for poop baggies.

We have rescue cats, chickens and lambs. Please do not enter the barnyard area. Make sure your children understand our rules. If you would like to pet the sheep during your stay, please call me to make arrangements.

Please drive slow. Be safe.

Other things to note
When you are here you wash the dishes together and talk to your kids about their day at the supper table.

It’s a slow pace, it's a fun place and it’s on Airbnb for a limited time.

Location

New Ringgold, Pennsylvania, United States

Our location is perfect for folks who are looking to get away from the rush and noise of city life. The landscape is mountainous with lots of tree farms including my husband's business called J.C Hill Tree Farms. We love the tranquility of this farm and we hope that you do, too.

When you arrive look for the fire ring near the shed on the right side as you drive in (we provide the wood).

Don't forget to picnic on good weather days. Grab a blanket and the basket we provide and fill it with your favorite foods and adult beverage and find a little private spot with a big view.

If it rains you might want to explore by car the area or visit other nearby counties including Lancaster and Berks. Google these places before you arrive so that you have a game plan.

Our outbuildings including the barn are private and used by our farmhands.

My husband and I live in an old farmhouse on a tree farm. We enjoy riding our Indian Motorcycle starting in early spring through the fall. In December we head to the Adirondaks and ride the trail system on our Polaris snowmobiles. We hope to see you at Mimm's Country Inn in New Ringgold in Schuylkill County!
