Rising from the ground like something straight out of a fairytale storybook, The Boot is one of those true one-off places. This spellbinding hideaway is set on the Tasman Coast, an area of natural beauty and rugged coastline, backed by mountain scenery to explore. Your accommodation is a creative feat of architecture, with large open fireplaces inside and out, a luxurious queen-sized bed, a shower built for two, flowers, breakfast supplies and homemade treats, and your own private courtyard.

The space
The neighbouring Jester House Cafe is under the same ownership and on the same property. Once a 7 day a week cafe, now it is only open on Fridays. If you are staying on a Friday you can enjoy a great coffee or a scrumptious lunch here. It has earned the reputation as being a Nelson icon so come over and enjoy this unique slice of Nelson.

Guest access
The Boot is situated in a private courtyard in the garden of our 2.4 hectare property. You are free to wander the garden, walk up the hill and enjoy the view from the top.

Other things to note
The Boot is a unique place to stay and guests generally don't want to leave. If you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary, this is the place for you.

I live and work on our property in the beautiful region of Nelson. We created The Boot as an extra special place for couples to be able to spend quality time together without all the usual intrusions of life. We love hosting guests who love life, have a sense of curiosity and enjoy a bit of unconventional luxury . I love tramping, gardening, being a grandmama to my 3 beautiful granddaughters and sharing our piece of paradise with others.
