Cozy Rustic Cabin, located on a working horse ranch on top of the Colorado National Monument, 30 min from Grand Junction, CO. This location is perfect for those seeking a unique place to stay while enjoying all the adventures available around the area including hiking trails, horseback riding, ATV riding, hunting, and some of the best mountain biking around. There is beautiful aspen covered,alpine high country nearby as well as red rock desert/ formations including a series of natural arches.

The space
This unique cabin has a main living area with a couch( folds out into a queen size bed) and a love seat, T.V. (direct tv), kitchen table/chairs, microwave, wood burning stove ( and two electric heaters are the main source of heat). There is a wooden spiral staircase that leads to a loft up stairs with extra bunk beds ( sleeps 6). There is a bedroom with a full size bed and wood burning stove and and its own access door to the outside. There is a cool unique octagon bathroom complete with an awesome all rock shower!! and a medium sized kitchen with a convection oven, microwave, toaster oven, two hotplates (just like stove burners) coffee maker and electric skillet, it also has a small bar with three bar stools! it also has, bowl, plates, silverware, some pots and pans, cups and glasses.

Guest access
Cabin is located on same property as residents. There are also barns and horse pasture surrounding the area.

Neighborhood highlights

Glade Park is remote, but the drive up the Colorado Monument is incredible, there are two accesses into the park- the Fruita entrance and the Redlands entrance. Driving up the monument you will see red rock, formations, tunnels, and you could even see Desert big horn sheep. We recommend driving up one way and exiting down the other side. Glade Park is also home to some of the largest mule deer and Trophy Elk in the country. The residents sits next to BLM property. There are a few homes nearby. There is a small convenience store located 2.5 miles away and the nearest gas station, restaurant, stores etc. are 30 min. away in Grand Juction, CO. We have had several guests say this is a very convenient place to stay if you are on your way to Moab, Ut or Canyon lands etc.
