Welcome! Get out of the city and come relax in our mountaintop retreat. Relax by the warm, wood stove or enjoy the view from our second-story deck! Terrace Lakes Resort is only a five-minute drive - go play some golf or relax in their geothermal pool! Plenty of room for girls’ trips or family reunions yet cozy enough for a couple to get away for the weekend without the kids. Only an hour away from Boise. No matter what you decide to do while you are here, you will leave feeling rejuvenated.

The space
Our 2400-square-foot, air-conditioned cabin has three levels (with a bathroom on each level) and provides plenty of room for everyone to spread out. And every guest gets an actual bed - no air mattresses or cots here!

On the main floor, you'll find the kitchen, dining room, living room, master bedroom (Bedroom 1) with a king-sized Tempur-pedic bed, and a full bath. Our kitchen is fully-equipped with dishes, cookware, utensils, spices, coffee maker and grinder, toaster oven, microwave, blender, and a water cooler. Just bring your groceries!

In the open-area loft space upstairs, on one side, you'll find an area with a California king-sized Tempur-pedic and twin bed (Living Room 2). On the other side of the loft is a twin-over-full bunk bed and another twin (Living Room 3). Between the two loft spaces is a bathroom with a shower. NOTE: BECAUSE THESE ROOMS ARE LOCATED IN AN OPEN-AIR LOFT, THEY DO NOT HAVE BEDROOM DOORS.

Have fun in our downstairs game room! Challenge your friends to a game of foosball, table tennis, or magnetic darts! Or grab a board game off the shelf for some good, old-fashioned family fun! We also have a smart tv with Netflix and other streaming services as well as a DVD player. Additionally, you'll find another bedroom with two queen beds (Bedroom 2). The large sectional couch also has a full-sized, pull-out sofabed (Living Room 4)

Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on the upper deck. And you can have a relaxing dinner on the downstairs patio while overlooking the meadow below.

And you’re on vacation! For goodness’ sake, don’t worry about packing sheets - we provide those, as well as bath towels and toiletries. We want your stay to be as comfortable and carefree as possible!

Please note that the subdivision where our cabin is located is a full-time resident community. We ask our guests to please drive slowly up to the house (10mph). Also, make sure to watch for deer!

Hello! My name is Megan and my husband and I are the proud owners of the Mountaintop Hideaway Retreat. Since our dating years, we have spent the majority of our summers camping along the shores of Idaho’s beautiful lakes and rivers in the amazing wilderness areas our state has to offer. We continued that tradition with our kids in tow – in fact, our daughter's first camping trip was when she was just three-months-old. A few years ago, we purchased a vintage camping trailer and Matt spent an entire winter rebuilding it from the inside out.

While that cute little trailer has treated our family well, as our children got older, we began to dream of a place of our own - one that we could go to to get out of the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives and to live our motto to "Go Slow." We also wanted a place that we could share with others as well. And we stumbled upon this glorious place, a true haven in the woods.

We absolutely love to host - whether it's celebrating a wedding anniversary or a family reunion or just a family weekend getaway or girls' trip, we strive to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Come stay!
