Coastal, light and airy, this studio is perfect for those seeking to explore all that Deer Isle has to offer! Located on the Eggemoggin Reach, you will have access to hiking trails, kayaking, sailing, shopping, and lobsters from the lobster capital of the world, Stonington!

We are so lucky to live on this beautiful island and are looking forward to sharing a piece of our paradise with you!

The space
Located on the second floor of a detached garage, you will have a private, secure entrance to a studio apartment with a king-size bed, bathroom with a stand up shower, kitchenette that includes a Keurig, microwave and small refrigerator, a flat screen TV with Dish and 2 reclining chairs to sit back and enjoy the beautiful ocean view.

Guest access
You will have access to a beach in front of the primary house, Adirondack chairs, deck usage, and wi-fi.

Other things to note
Local shops, art galleries, restaurants and endless outdoor activities are just a few reasons why people love exploring this charming island! This location is just a short drive to the Deer Isle village, downtown Stonington, Little Deer Isle, and Blue Hill. Visit the Deer Isle/Stonington Chamber of Commerce for lots of other fun ideas to do around the area.

Please note that Bar Harbor / Acadia National Park is about 1.5 hours drive from here.

I am a retired NJ high school teacher, originally from Little Deer Isle. My husband Dave, a retired Electrical Engineer, returned to our home state of Maine about 19 years ago. We built this detached apartment to host friends, family, and those interested in visiting Deer Isle.
