Complete cottage in shabby chic style with large, romantic garden near U2 station and small parking lot, ideal for combining country life a la Tuscany with city trip. Attention: no Wi-Fi!

The space
Our small summer cottage is located in an old 1500 m², beautiful garden in the middle of Vienna, a rarity! It serves me and my husband as a summer home, and in between we like to leave it to guests. That's why there are plenty of personal furnishings that can be used, but do not meet a hotel standard.
For 2 it is perfect, but you can also sleep two on the sofa bed, but of course it is very tight. (Additional costs: 10.00/person/night)
In the large garden, many resting places with comfortable garden furniture invite you to chill out, but there is also a large bathing pond nearby. There is a (narrow) parking space for a car. The situation is: for about 1 year, parking on the street has been subject to a fee throughout Vienna. I have an old garage and a parking space in front of it, which I also use myself, or like to provide, but both are very narrow and difficult for SUVs. We have lovingly renovated the cottage ourselves in the "shabby chic" style. But if you value hygiene and meticulous cleanliness, you are definitely in the wrong place. Even insect phobics should look for something a little less rural.
Coffee filter machine, Italian espresso pot, oven, dishwasher, large freezer, all cooking utensils are available, although not always the latest model.
The little red "sleeping cave" is very original.
In the small bathroom there is a spacious shower.
We always enjoy spending the beautiful evenings on the terrace with barbecue facilities, so we don't miss the TV and Wi-Fi. (Attention: bring insect repellent!)
If you come early in the spring or late in the fall and want to use the electric radiators for heating, you would have to expect a small heating cost subsidy (smart meter)

Guest access
Guests can move freely in the secluded garden, but I may stop by to work. Furthermore, I hope you do not feel disturbed when I use the anteroom and toilet and possibly the refrigerator.

Other things to note
My garden is full of decorative objects and there is a very small pond, so be careful with small children!

Lives in Vienna, Austria
I am a very fun-loving person and, perhaps somewhat unconventionally given my age (no children, freelancer, etc.), I live with my husband in a lovely old-style apartment in Vienna in the winter and in our garden house on the outskirts of the city in the summer. Our 2 cats both died this year after 19 years and so we can travel again. We love trips that we organize ourselves and get to know many locals. My husband is an English teacher, I work in visual advertising, cook for smaller events and organize Tango Argentino evenings.
