Roll out of bed, make your coffee (Peet's coffee incl), walk 3 steps - get this view - no hiking involved. Our Casita is situated on a ridge overlooking the summit of the Santa Cruz Mountains; The Casita is completely private and separate from the main house. Enjoy the view with a glass of wine on the front porch. Walk out front door to trails through the redwoods. Excellent restaurants in small, quaint town of Felton, home to majestic Henry Cowell State Park. Or drive 20 minutes to Santa Cruz.

The space
Best for couples who want a peaceful nature-filled getaway. Heated. Very private with a stunning view of San Lorenzo Valley. Close to all Santa Cruz has to offer - Mountain Biking, Surfing, Hiking, Beach Volleyball, etc...
La Casita is a small, heated comfortable space with a sleeping loft with queen size mattress. A ladder leads to the loft and one has to be limber to access the loft.

The shower(Hot/Cold) is outdoors and attached to the Casita itself. Bathroom is a half bath and is NOT attached to the Casita. We provide super comfy bathrobes.

Hammock just outside Casita for lazy dangling in the woods. CALFIRE IS NOT ALLOWING CAMPFIRES THIS SEASON.

Guest access
The access to main house guest half bath ( private entrance) is 25 steps from the Casita in the main house. Private entrance and for the exclusive use of our guests.; The outdoor shower is attached to the Casita and provides a sweeping mountain view. A door provides privacy if desired.
Access to the sleeping loft is tight for larger persons - we discourage guests over 6''1 /200 lbs. to book.

Must have good flexibility to access the loft.

NO PETS.

Checkout time is 11 am.

Other things to note
- The half bath is NOT in the Casita - it is attached to the main house. It is accessible from the outside and is exclusive for guest use.
- Single serve coffee maker with Peet's k-cups coffee.
- must be limber, young and athletic to access sleeping loft
- We recommend bringing flip flops for the outdoor shower.
- We provide a couple of spring water bottles.
- No kitchen/cooking amenities inside Casita
- No pets.
