You are immersed in the greenery on the hillside with beautiful views over Lake Iseo. Enjoy every season the colors of nature and clean air, away from noise and traffic. The house we offer is recovered to a stable home: where they were admitted to the animals we have obtained the living room with kitchen and fireplace. From the above we have obtained a cozy barn loft sleeping area with bed. The house has a television with DVD player. From the gallery you enter the bathroom with a shower. "
You can overlook the lake at one minute walking in the property, the best wiew fon the lake is in front of the other house that you can rent always with airbnb.
As soon as I will publish here a map of the garden/park near the house.

Again, it was a wonderful experience to stay in the house in the woods! Marco was a very kind and helpful host!
The house in the woods is amazing, like a dream home! Like others have already mentioned is exactly like the pictures and very well kept. A small cottage on the top of a hill (well, nearly, you can certainly get a nice hike among the trees to the top and the view will be stunning) away from everything. With beautiful surroundings and so so quiet, you'll hear nothing but the sounds of the forest. We made a fire some days when it was colder and spent really nice evenings with tea and mulled wine, seemed like christmas! And you can get all the timber you can wish for from a shed near the cottage. If you want solitude, nature and a warm cosy cottage, this is perfect.
Now, even though the cottage and the mountain is second to none, I'd recommend bringing a car. We didn't have one and where kind of stuck there, because you can't rely on italian buses! They arrive whenever they feel like it. One time we wanted to go to Lovere, which is like 15 min from Solto Collina (the nearest town to the cottage, around 10 min walking down hill) and waited more than an hour for a bus that never came, and we didn't have the times wrong. Maybe they where napping with the rest of the town at the moment since everything shuts down from (phone number hidden) pm to, well, have a nap. So, bring a car, because the nearby towns like Lovere and Bergamo are beautiful and very much worth a visit. If it weren't for Marco being so kind as to drive us there (thank you Marco! We love you!) we would've never seen them. He even took us to a really big supermarket (the one in town is quite small) and because he knew we love fruit and vegs he brought us some from a field or something once. So yes, Marco is a great host and he helped us in every way he could. Such a great person, our experience there wouldn't have been the same without making his acquaintance.
One final thing, bring a mosquito repelent. Seriously. Those indonesian things are quiet and they sneak on you like nothing you've faced before. They're evil, pure evil. You don't hear them or feel them, and only realize they where on you when that huge red mountain that itches like crazy turns up. We got bitten every day and more than once. They are the ultimate blood sucking things, and the certainly know how to skulk, when skulking is required. So protect yourselves.
Marco is friendly and a very helpful host: without him picking us up we had never found the house in the woods. The house is like on the pictures, it was quite relaxing to stay there a few days!
We stayed here for our honeymoon and had such a lovely time. My husband and I could hardly speak any Italian and arrived late in the day as our GPS device broke on the way from the airport. Marco was very nice and accommodating. He waited for us to come and drove us to the house as (website hidden) maps and the GSP devices do not have the correct address.
The house is very secluded and set on a beautiful mountain that overlooks the town below. As others said you can not see the lake directly from the little house but it's a very short stroll and the view from any angle is beautiful!
The places is smaller than it looks in photos but absolutely perfect for a couple. The kitchen was well stocked in cooking supplies and utensils. Thanks to Marco's direction we went to the bakery for bread and croissants in the morning and the grocery store for the meals we cooked in the kitchen.
We made a fire every night in the fireplace and it actually had a vent to send the heat up to the bedroom. Which made the nights all the more cozy.
We hope to stay here again soon and definitely recommend it!
A beautiful location! And a very nice and helpful host, we will come again!
Marco e sua moglie sono stati estremamente disponibili e gentili nel venire incontro a tutte le nostre necessità.
Spero di rivederli presto!
Marco was a wonderful host. We had no problem meeting up with him and when we arrived onsite, the house and surroundings were even more beautiful than imagined. Even though the weather wasn't cooperating, we had a great time - sitting in front of the fire, or visiting the small towns nearby... We hope to return soon!
We had a wonderful time at the house in the woods. It is small but cozy and has just about everything you could want for a short retreat. Marco was welcoming and helpful with what to explore both locally and in our other Italian destinations. I'd be happy to return.
