A small cozy house.
You are immersed in the greenery on the hillside with beautiful views over Lake Iseo. Enjoy every season the colors of nature and clean air, away from noise and traffic. The house we offer is recovered to a stable home: where they were admitted to the animals we have obtained the living room with kitchen and fireplace. From the above we have obtained a cozy barn loft sleeping area with bed. The house has a television with DVD player. From the gallery you enter the bathroom with a shower. "
You can overlook the lake at one minute walking in the property, the best wiew fon the lake is in front of the other house that you can rent always with airbnb.
As soon as I will publish here a map of the garden/park near the house.
From 2013 the check in is betweeen (phone number hidden) p.m. and check out at 10.00 a.m.

Me, my husband and my one year old daughter had a great time in Marco’s house in early September.
First of all, the view from the garden is breathtaking, the pictures on AirBnB don’t do justice on the actual view in real life, you’ll have to see it to believe it. The garden is big, tidy and quiet, and full of colourful butterflies.
The drive up to the house can be tricky but it’s worth the trouble! The house itself is cosy, it has everything you need. Central heating (which we never had to use), a television (which we never used, but works), a fireplace (very romantic) a sofa and a dining table.
The kitchen was basic, but had everything you could wish for, plus: a washing machine, very handy indeed when your staying for more than a week.
The two bedrooms were small, but neat. The bathroom was very well done, except the water pressure wasn’t great. It took a while for the bath to full up with water.
Marco is a lovely host and provided us with everything. He knows some good restaurants nearby and has great tips for a day trip. I would recommend this house to everyone!
Me&my husband were looking for a place to stay over the weekend that can accomodate our dog and where she can go around freely without lash.
We bumped in this listing and we were fascinated by it immediately.
Marco replied very fast to my queries and he was very aaccomodating.
The little cottage is amazing, small but cute and seems brand new.
No TV (there's a TV as showed on the photos but you can use it only to see DVD, so bring your owns!) and no wifi (if you need it, Marco can connect you to his home's wifi). Only peace, woods, lake view...
Our dog loved this place and so did we! We will definitely be back in the future! I strongly recommend it to families with kids, with dogs, friends, sporty people.
There are many walkable path from the house going in every directions.
The only thing I would underline is that the small cottage doesn't have the view of the lake as in the photos. This view is from the other house that Marco rents as well. We spent most of our time there as it's nicer than the view from the cottage (nice view anyway, trees and mountains) but only because that house was not rented. I would't feel confortable to stay there if it was rented. Take note of it.
Next time I'll book this bigger house with nicer view.
We stayed in Marco's amazing apartment for our honeymoon! It was incredible, the photo's really don't do the view justice! The little house is very well equipped with a lovely kitchen, cosy sofa and even a log burner. The bed is wonderfully comfortable and it's decorated in a lovely modern style. We especially loved the odd sized windows, especially the very small ones! There is one in the bathroom by the shower, and when the steam hits the morning sunlight it makes an incredible beam of mist!
We met Marco in the little town a few minutes drive from the house, where he showed us the lovely bakery (Who sell very tasty croissants!) and the local supermarket, pharmacy etc. Which was very helpful and we loved going to the little local shops.
The house was very clean and looked exactly like the photos, I would definitely recommend this house to other guests!
Our stay in Marco&Rosanna house was just perfect.
The house is lost on the Iseo lake's hill, it's very calm! The nature is beautiful and the view on the lake is just amazing. You do not have that view from the house, but within 1min walk (still on the property) you get it. And even more : walking trails are next to the garden (but don't worry you do not see and hear anybody) and you can go up to a small church where the view is wonderful.
Inside, it's charming and perfect for 2 people.
Rosanna (marco's wife) was really kind and she gave us some good tips to visit the area. We didn't have the chance to meet Marco but everything was well prepared.
We strongly recommend Marco's place. It's in our TOP3. We certainly come back in the following years.
Something to know : Marco rents 2 houses on the property. We had the chance to be alone but it would not have been the same if we had to share the property :-)
Again, it was a wonderful experience to stay in the house in the woods! Marco was a very kind and helpful host!
The house in the woods is amazing, like a dream home! Like others have already mentioned is exactly like the pictures and very well kept. A small cottage on the top of a hill (well, nearly, you can certainly get a nice hike among the trees to the top and the view will be stunning) away from everything. With beautiful surroundings and so so quiet, you'll hear nothing but the sounds of the forest. We made a fire some days when it was colder and spent really nice evenings with tea and mulled wine, seemed like christmas! And you can get all the timber you can wish for from a shed near the cottage. If you want solitude, nature and a warm cosy cottage, this is perfect.
Now, even though the cottage and the mountain is second to none, I'd recommend bringing a car. We didn't have one and where kind of stuck there, because you can't rely on italian buses! They arrive whenever they feel like it. One time we wanted to go to Lovere, which is like 15 min from Solto Collina (the nearest town to the cottage, around 10 min walking down hill) and waited more than an hour for a bus that never came, and we didn't have the times wrong. Maybe they where napping with the rest of the town at the moment since everything shuts down from (phone number hidden) pm to, well, have a nap. So, bring a car, because the nearby towns like Lovere and Bergamo are beautiful and very much worth a visit. If it weren't for Marco being so kind as to drive us there (thank you Marco! We love you!) we would've never seen them. He even took us to a really big supermarket (the one in town is quite small) and because he knew we love fruit and vegs he brought us some from a field or something once. So yes, Marco is a great host and he helped us in every way he could. Such a great person, our experience there wouldn't have been the same without making his acquaintance.
One final thing, bring a mosquito repelent. Seriously. Those indonesian things are quiet and they sneak on you like nothing you've faced before. They're evil, pure evil. You don't hear them or feel them, and only realize they where on you when that huge red mountain that itches like crazy turns up. We got bitten every day and more than once. They are the ultimate blood sucking things, and the certainly know how to skulk, when skulking is required. So protect yourselves.

Hello, I'm Mark and I live on a hill in a quiet place, where you have a magnificent view of Lake Iseo. Airbnb I discovered through a friend at the beginning of September 2011 and the idea of offering hospitality to travelers through the site I liked it but .... I did not think that would be an experience so intense and exciting! Arrived travelers from many countries and so far everyone has enjoyed the beauty of this lake "magic". I hope the site airbnb grows over time while maintaining the spirit that gave birth and continuing to improve the opportunities for hosts and travelers. I will be happy to give you tips and suggestions to help you learn about places and routes that are close to your interests. By the time I'm enriching guide on the site so consult it! If you like the idea of being with your dog under a tree, doing nothing, walking with your child to discover the country, read a book comfortably lying on a deck chair .... Well you do. The guest reviews can help you beyond what I can offer. My dream travel at this time is finding the time to visit the lake in Malawi Niasa ....... but here I am fine if guests bring me the visions of their part of the world!
In the house you will find books by Kurt Vonnegut and Douglas Adams, in the woods occasionally wanders our dog is a nice and quiet Bernese Mountain Dog. If you want to watch a movie on DVD or listen to a CD we will try to accommodate you: usually recommend to review The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy .... at least the beginning and Hunting Red to October. If you feel close anthroposophy, look for a holistic approach to your well-being or just want to have a quiet holiday this is a good place.
I offer the house to meet a very special place on Lake Iseo. I will be pleased to know guests and advise on itineraries for places to discover and taste to know. Personally I think spending a few days admiring the lake with its colors and its mountains is an wonderfull experience both on sunny days than in those with rain and snow. This lake is magical, and who comes to see usually appreciate it!
I am fond of the breed of the Bernese mountain dog, I like to think that Kurt Vonnegut is still alive and is looking us slyly the passing of our lives too busy to type files and to drive a car. On the paths of this hill or in the shade of a tree with the breeze of the wind you can sit still and make a dream of a world better?
