Miles upon miles for hiking and admiring Sedona's natural, stunning beauty. Please note: there are no trails per say out our back door but we enjoy going out in the forest to walk the dry creek area. The closest trails are about a 7 minute car ride to Red Rock State Park and Red Rock Crossing.
Please note that the fireplace in this room is mostly for ornamental purposes and runs on propane (which is very expensive in this area). In the winter, for $55 we can offer its use. You have central heat and an electric heater in the room to keep you nice and warm during Sedona's cool winter nights.
Interaction with Guests
We reside here in the main house and will be present during your stay should you need anything, and we love to interact with our guests especially to share any information about the magic and beauty of Sedona, our ceremonies and the holistic services Meaghan provides. We can also recommend any restaurants, massage therapists, tour guides, etc.
We respect that our neighbors enjoy the peace and quiet of this very special and magical place. Our absolute favorite neighbors are the coyote, deer, rabbits, javalina, roadrunners, hawk, hummingbirds, bluejays, and the occasional lynx and mountain lions. Please respect the naturalness of the area and be aware that there are snakes and scorpions in the desert!
As we are tucked away from the hustle and bustle of uptown Sedona, there is no public transportation available from the property.

I loved staying at the Sedona Sacred Rocks. What a lovely place with awesome people. Stephen and Meaghan were super welcoming, warm and easy going. I only stayed for a day, but thanks to Stephen's recommendations I got to experience a great hike, tasty food at the Chocola Tree and got to visit a few crystal places. Thank you! I hope to be back soon!
My friend and I had a great time here. Everything we needed was provided. But I have to say this place is indeed a special place - beautiful night skies, quiet and calming atmosphere, friendly dogs... Will never forget!
A lovely young lady Briece welcomed us warmly and gave us a tour of Sacred Rocks and showed us to our room. She was very informative and helpful. We fell in love with this beautiful, peaceful place right away. We met Meaghan later that evening along with Gretta and Rebekah. We attended and enjoyed Meaghans sound therapy session that evening. We were treated like family and felt so at home at Sacred Rocks. We went along with them on a great hike to Lost Canyon where we held a sacred ceremony in a Shaman ruin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sacred Rocks and look forward to returning next year. We highly recommend this place to everyone! It offers a private, peaceful setting yet only minutes from center of Sedona. Shopping, restaurants, gas, tourist centers, vortexes, hiking trails and other points of interest. We also fell in love with Gracy, Maley and Frances, their sweet friendly dogs along with the beautiful horses. We feel so grateful for this experience, thank you Meaghan from the bottom of our hearts! Susan, Danny and Alicia
Beautiful place, comfortable room and GREAT host! It made our trip very special to have Meaghan there to show us (website hidden) daughter and I loved our stay and hope to come back!
I finished my week at Meaghan's and it was very special. If you're looking for a place to stay that has a metaphysical bent this is it. (I didn't take advantage of the horses but I think had the weather been warmer I might have done that.)
I loved the drumming ceremony and the crystal bells. My goal was to have a 'retreat' and this place was perfect for that. Quiet and pretty. The bad news is I didn't get to experience anything in the Teepee as the weather went unexpectedly cold. The good news however was I was in Sedona when they had a very unusual snow storm. I guess they got close to a foot of snow over the New Year. Meaghan had warned me so I went to Whole Foods and got a bunch of food and was able to sit warm and cozy in my room and look out to watch the snow fall and create gorgeous vistas. Seeing the mountains with snow on them is something special. Also as I got up every morning at 4am to write, i found right out my sliding doors I had a gorgeous view of the moon over the mountains. So I moved the chair so i could sit and look out as i wrote. So my goal of having a week of private time for reflections and writing was more than met.
Location was easy to find and easy to get in and out of Sedona. So thanks to Meaghan and the gang. Enjoyed the dogs as well since I didn't have mine with me.
It was a wonderful stay at Meaghan's place. Unfortunately she was not there but Bris was very helpful. We had a dog and Meaghan's dogs also welcomed our dog as well.
Sunrise, sunset, stars, moon...Everything that I need were there with beautiful air.
My wife and I were looking for a long weekend for external and internal exploration. We found Sedona Sacred Rocks and Meaghan and everything fell into place. Meaghan was a wonderful host. The room was exactly as advertised, spacious and comfortable. Beautiful sunrises, sunsets. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A little off the beaten path, which was perfect for us.

Sedona Sacred Rocks, a former Bed and Breakfast and also a former Buddhist Retreat Center, rests on two secluded Red Rock acres adjoining two thousand acres of the Coconino National forest. Your hostess, Meaghan recently opened Sedona Sacred Rocks as a Spiritual platform from which she shares her gifts and wisdom with those who wish to connect to nature and the beauty in Life and within.
Previously a successful professional trainer and rider of show horses for twenty plus years, Meaghan recently became a mother to two wonderful boys, Zac and Xavier. Her life then changed dramatically as she realized that she wanted to help create a better world for her children and future generations. Meaghan then took all of her gifts as a horse trainer, a Mother, an intuitive and an Energy Medicine practitioner/Reiki Master (Teacher) and combined them to help those that want to find wholeness and healing and to learn to live in their Hearts. Meaghan includes intention, ceremony, Horse Divination and Energy Medicine. In some cases, her horses act as her assistants and guides to create transformation for each individual's personal journey. Meaghan is available to come to teach and train horses and their partners at their home or farm. Her methods encourage them to take their riding to higher levels of communication, understanding and effective partnership through Heart centeredness. Meaghan also enjoys teaching people how to strengthen their connection with nature and our Earth Mother.
