The second bedroom has a trundle bed which can become two twin beds. The twin beds can be pushed together and be dressed with king sheets, but please note, it is still two twins masquerading as a king!

Interaction with Guests
We live just a mile down the road. We personally meet every guest upon arrival and show them around the house. Check in available from 3pm to 9pm. Checkout by noon. We're happy to try and accommodate special check-in needs when our schedule allows.
There's a lovely park with playground equipment and plenty of room to kick a soccer ball just two blocks away.
Down the street is one of our favorite authentic Mexican restaurants, La Cocina. It is open for breakfast and lunch. Cheap and good food!
Around the corner is Lorenzo's Pasta Express, which is hands down the best Italian food in town. Take out only, lunch and dinner.
Historic Mesilla Plaza is very close by with its adobe church, shops and great restaurants.
Feel like a local as you wander through the award winning Las Cruces Farmers and Crafts Market. This is a great way to spend a Wednesday or Saturday morning. We'll share more of our favorites when you get here.
A city bus stop is one block away and can take you downtown. Las Cruces isn't famous for it's public transportation, but this bus gets you to the downtown mall hourly.

Ashleigh is a perfect host! She welcomed us and made us feel free to use everything in the house. Even she brought some groceries and home-made cookies for us!
The house was very clean, comfortable and located in the safe and peaceful area. Excellent!
Spent the weekend in Las Cruces for a family function and it was a wonderful retreat down memory lane. Ashleigh was an amazing host and even had our favorite breakfast chorizo in the fridge and fresh homemade cookies. Rooms are comfortable and neighborhood was just what we remembered. Excellent choice, plan to make it retreat when visiting family!
Ashleigh and Jeff were wonderful, attentive hosts! They are very genuine and helpful. My daughter and I had never been in Las Cruces before and their hints and input allowed us to really enjoy our visit! The house was lovely and in a beautiful part of town!
We stayed for a month in this wonderful home.
Ashleigh welcomed us even when we arrived late at night. She was the perfect host : always available, took us out for dinner, brought us a delicious gluten free cake and plenty of fresh pears from her garden. Thank you again!
The house has a lot of space and the front porch was a peaceful place to enjoy the mornings (coffee and meditation!). Near to a number of grocery stores and the Mesilla Old Town.
Highly recommended for anyone staying in Las Cruces.
Ashleigh was a superior hostess. We can't say enough good things about her. She greeted us with a smile, even though we arrived a couple of hours late due to delayed flights. Her cookies were amazing, hospitality refreshing and her knowledge of the area appreciated.
We really enjoyed this charming cottage. It was nicely decorated, quite comfortable for our little family and clean. It had all of the comforts of home, right down to a nightlight in the bathroom. We loved having a washer and dryer on hand for all of the laundry a truly good vacation can help generate. Our favorite area of the house was the sun room. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee there each morning. There was also a wonderful collection of eclectic music at the house.
We took several walks in the neighborhood and kind of fell in love with it. It is a mix of small cottages and large estates, all with a lot of character. We saw lots of friendly people walking around the neighborhood every day. There is a park a few short blocks from the house. The cottage is also very close to Old Mesilla and is conveniently located to downtown and Interstate 10.
We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.
This place was absolutely perfect for two other classmates of mine and I during a month long clinical rotation in and around the Las Crucas area. This place has a very welcoming vibe, was tastefully decorated, was in a great location, had all the amenities we needed especially internet, and had the best host anybody could ask for! Ashleigh was wonderful in making sure we had everything we needed, and was only a phone call away from rectifying any problem encountered. Highly recommended!
Great experience! We arrived, got the tour and found the home to be more cozy than we initially thought from the pics. The porch was a great morning spot to relax in and have tea or coffee. I also enjoyed the fact that we had a few conveniences already in the fridge when we arrived.
