Loved and enjoyed my stay at the treehouse very much. The treehouse was in a quiet neighborhood and very close to the beaches. Incredible views and a great vibe to the place. The homeowner was very kind. Would very much recommend this place and would also love to come back!

We were absolutely thrilled to be able to stay at the Temple Tree house for our 1st anniversary/honeymoon, and could not recommend it more. It really enabled us to get connected with nature without sacrificing in amenities. We had a magical time and felt refreshed and re-energized, which we desperately needed. Our honeymoon/anniversary trip was a success thanks to the gorgeous setting, amazing views, and exceptional service. We could have not asked for a better place to stay. The beaches of the North Shore and the nature that surrounds the area are immaculate. We even had an incredible yoga session with Francisco which tied in to our wellness mindset. Everything exceeded our expectations! Lisette & Christopher La Jolla, CA

A truly charming work of art. After island hopping and staying at various resorts we wanted to end our trip with something unique and intimate.. This property was beyond our expectations. Absolutely breathtaking. John was so welcoming, a kind soul.. the entire place has a calming energy and that seems to be his goal. Prepare to be surrounded by every possible shade of green, an abundance of stars at night, and a beautiful ocean view from this quiet, one-of-a-kind nature dwelling.

Gorgeous. Great location, everything you need within minutes drive. Gear and bicycles available are super convenient. Everyone on property was super nice and helpful. I was even invited to meet up to surf one morning, went and had a blast! Thanks guys! Trade your fanny pack in with your knee highs and dr schols for sounds of birds and insects, colors of the land, ocean and sun all around you. Stay here for a taste of the island life; without feeling like another gaper in the crowd, gathered around a single sea turtle, trying to get the same (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN).

Fantastic treehouse. Could not have been better situated --dreamy views of the ocean where the mind can wander and/or relax all day long. Wonderful accommodations for those looking for a very laid back, no-frills experience in a beautiful nature-like setting.

John and his staff were excellent communicators and kind. The community is very natural and lovely. The "Tree House" Bungalow where we stayed is super cool and it is quite a hike to get up there, but we actually enjoyed the isolation. the views are spectacular and I have never felt so close to nature. What we didn't enjoy was the heat. We visited in August once it got past 11 am, the tree house heated up badly and we just couldn't cool down, despite extra fans. We think the problem is there is (understandably) no insulation on the roof and, with the west exposure, it radiates heat in the bungalow all afternoon. It's near impossible to get it to cool down (and we are from FLORIDA) . the bedroom is upstairs and, with the heat naturally rising, added to the fact the air flow only has east and west up there (small windows too), it is hot hot hot. We had planned to stay 3 nights but couldn't stand it after the second and left to find an air conditioned placed for our last night in Hawaii. So visit, definitely visit, just don't do it in August. Aloha!!

30+ year North Shore vet and crew love to share local knowledge with guests. We overlook the most beautiful ocean and love to get in it everyday! From white water first timers to big wave tow ins, kite surf, stand up paddle and traditional surfing, we do it all. The focus is fun and we will put you in the right place to maximize yours. We eat mostly vegetarian and organic, and a lot of our food we grow on the property. Yoga is a focal point for us, and if you care to join in we are all inclusive... novice first timers and seasoned yogis alike! The communal yoga deck overlooks the surf at Sunset Beach and has been the venue for some wonderful practice for our guests that have visited and ourselves as well. We enjoy inspiring and being inspired by the friends we make up here. There are a couple of other bungalows on the property that are inhabited by like minded people, we always welcome you to join us, but are very respectful of your privacy.
