Quiet light- filled cottage has 2 bedrooms and a warm cosy interior. It is a great base for visiting Dingle . On your doorstep is our traditional Irish pub where Music , Food and a warm welcome awaits you.

The Space

Its a haven of quiet within steps of a unique pub . You will feel at home by the fireside but company is not far away if you feel like it. You can walk to all of Dingle's main attractions ( and there are many )

Guest Access

Food and drink served all day every day in our pub and the best of Irish Music can be heard !

Interaction with Guests

we love to meet guests and so do our friendly bar staff but we like also to respect guests space and privacy so we will leave you in peace when you want that! we are here if you need us.

The Neighborhood

Within walking distance : Great restaurants , lovely seafront walks , trips around the bay , a wonderful aquarium, lots of craft shops , a brewery , a distillery , an artisan cheese shop , one of the world's best ice cream parlours, a lovely library, a pottery shop, three goldsmiths making unique jewelry , bike rentals, candle makers, craft butcher , folk concerts , a wonderful cinema , and ( increasingly rare ) great record/cd shops. but mostly , great people !

Getting around

All the attractions of Dingle town are within walking distance and the Bus Eireann bus service has a stop minutes away. Organised tours and taxis are available close by - just ask at the bar or in the Tourist Office which is right across the street.

Other Things to Note

Note that this property is near our pub ( not attached to it ! ) and up 2 sets of steps to the rear of the garden. There is an exit you can use which is private and leads down a lane to the seafront. There is a full kitchen but we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in the pub if you are taking a break from cooking ! If you are a traditional music fan you are (email hidden) here ! Also we are fluent Gaelic speakers .. We can get by with our French too ! The pub has a police badge display we add to all the time if you have one from your area , or similar ones like Fire Dept etc. bring them with you! The local Creans Beer is a big favourite with us , and this year we have a new Whiskey ( or is that Whisky?! ) section in the bar ..

Thanks for the feed back. I have adressed the issues you mentioned - though the sofa is brand new and purchased last summer ( the large sofa bed ) , The other sofa is old but in good condition so I'm holding on to it for now - ! The cutlery has been replaced and 6 brand new large cereal bowls are now in the kitchen.
    Regards

  • The Cottage in Dingle was more than we had hoped for. It was clean and we had more space than we even needed for an extremely affordable price. Plus, the location could not have been more perfect. John and Eilis were so welcoming and helpful. I would recommend their Cottage to anyone staying in Dingle.

  • Lovely little cottage in central Dingle. Yes, it's behind a pub but WELL behind the pub and there's your own private entry so you don't have to go through the pub to get to your accommodation. There are at least 3 other buildings between the cottage and the pub so it is most certainly not noisy and behind the cottage is a lovely large field. The cottage itself is great, clean, tidy, good sized kitchen and three toilets (so no need to queue!). We highly recommend the cottage.

  • My friend and I had a great time in Dingle and highly recommend staying at the cottage! Perfect location, clean, lots of space and really helpful hosts! We loved the town so much that we decided to stay another night and John helped ensure we had rooms at another apartment he rents.

  • We had a great time in Dingle!! This cottage is in a great location but still quiet enough to relax comfortably. Cottage was cozy and clean. Tons of little pubs in the area with traditional music at night. I would definitely stay here again!!

  • John (email hidden), and the cottage was event better than we could have expected -- very clean, spacious, convenient location right on the main drag. We appreciated having a kitchen to cook breakfast in before heading out for the day, as well as the friendly conversations with Pat inside the pub. Parking was easy (and free), another plus. We hope to visit again, next time with friends!

  • The small cottage behind John Benny's Pub was adorable and well situated. We felt totally comfortable with the accessibility from the main road. We were greeted warmly and felt instantaneously befriended by Evonne in the pub when we arrived. Parking was easy to find. The cottage itself was organized, clean and well stocked with everything one would need. The heat was perfect. We especially enjoyed the warm (website hidden) music is on Wednesdays-weekend, so we came a bit early for that, but next time, we will stay at the cottage with more friends and stay to listen to the trad music. Thanks for the comfortable stay. The price was right and we loved the atmosphere.

  • John was easy to communicate with and responded promptly. His cottage is in a great location, quiet and secluded feeling, but you are right on the main street and town, so can easily walk to shops, pubs, etc.

We have a two year old, and the cottage had a good outdoor space for him to play, and the space within the cottage was a perfect size for us.
