Whale Island Cabins consists of 3 cabins on 4 acres on an island in secluded, remote Alaska. Transportation to will need to be arranged.

The space
The Whale Cabin can sleep 4, the Sea Otter Cabin can sleep 3, and the Eagle's Nest Cabin can sleep 2. The Eagle's Nest is still under construction, but can be used in a pinch. These listings can be found separately on AirBnB, or the whole property can be rented on this listing.

Guest access
Guests can access a 2,000 foot mountain to hike. There are beaches to beachcomb, kayaks to kayak, whales to be sighted, loons to be heard, and fish to be caught.

Other things to note
It is Kodiak, Alaska, so there is always a chance for bears. However, because it is a small island and there is no salmon spawning river, bears are not common.

I am a high school History teacher who is preparing her retirement. This property is designed to operate remotely, but I look forward to one month of hosting each summer. My favorite place to be when I am not working is Whale Island. I am an unobtrusive host, but will be available when needed. I will accommodate in any way I can.
