The apartment is beautiful and the photos don't do it enough justice!! It's MASSIVE! The area is great to, away from the crowds but only a 10min walk to everything :) the host was superb and sorted any if our needs we asked for :)
Caterina, Valentina's cousin met us at the apartment and showed us how to operate the heat and appliances in the apartment. She had oranges and sweet rolls for us to eat. The apartment was just as pictured and very lovely. The neighborhood is quiet and delightful. We had a most enjoyable stay and would definitely come back and stay with there again.
Great apartment -location walking distance to St Mark's and very close to Bienale. Bathrooms are wonderful. Beds are comfortable Neighborhood is nice.
The cuttlefish at the restaurant just on the Via Garabaldi entrance is (website hidden)-op Super Market virtually next store. I would gladly stay again.
Slight communication problem getting into the apartment was the only minor issue.
We had a most wonderful stay at Valentina's appartment which is even more beautiful than the photos may show. The place is phantastic, so is the neighborhood: "REAL VENICE", not that much touristic. You find small shop where you can buy everything you need, and even in winter time there are open air stalls with fresh fruit and vegetables in the Garibaldi street. Caterina was welcoming, charming and very helpful and provided us with very good restaurant and wine bar information. - In the kitchen we found basic food which would enable us to have breakfast without shopping before. - When one of us fell ill, she even provided us with information on suitable medication, etc. Extremely nice and helpful. - We felt like at home from the very first moment, and we highly enjoyed the very tasteful interior. - If you want to rent in Venice, this is definitvely the place to go, and you surely won't regret it. Absolutely beautiful place - and most welcoming and charming hosts. GRAZIE A VALENTINA E CATERINA!
