We loved our experience at Valentina's apartment . It is very comfortable, bright, clean and entirely equipped with all you need. The location in a residential area just outside the tourist area is perfect with all the local little stores you need from cafes and bakeries to wine shop and pharmacy. I highly recommend staying here. And Valentina is delightful.
We were warmly welcomed into Valentina's beautiful and spacious apartment by her cousin Caterina. It was exactly as described and more! So pleasant and clean, we really felt spoilt by how luxurious her apartment was. Everything was provided right down to the minute detail, and we were even treated with snacks and a delicious bottle of Prosecco, just wonderful.
We loved the location on the wide Garibaldi, close to the Biennale and being in Castello was a pleasant escape from the throngs of tourists. Lovely restaurant downstairs and a great little bar opposite. Our stay was incredible and we really must give Valentina's apartment 5 stars!
Super, Super & Super
Great host, location and apartment.
If you want to get away from the "touristy area", will being close to everything, this is the place.
Clean, spacious, within a lively neighborhood.
Super appartement spacieux et hôte.
Si vous désirez vous éloigner du secteur sur achalander, tout en étant près de tout, c’est votre place.
Propre, lumineux, situé dans un quartier dynamique et vivant.
We had a lovely stay at 1777 Via Garibaldi.
Valentina's directions to the apartment were easy to follow. We arrived by water bus, an hour later than we indicated because of a flight delay, but cousin Katerina was waiting for us there and showed us around. We were especially grateful for the generous provisions which had been left for us as our delay meant we arrived after the shops closed.
The apartment was great! Spacious, well appointed and with some lovely original art works. Both bathrooms and the kitchen were very modern, and the furnishings were of good quality and comfortable. The double glazing assured peace inside, but the local population kept to the regulations about low noise levels after 11 pm.
We loved the neighbourhood as it was away from the very touristy areas, but still close enough to walk to all the sights. It was also good to have green parks close at hand, as well as a co-op and lots of other shops, restaurants and bars.
We would unreservedly recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to stay in Venice.
This was the first experience with airbnb for my parents (direct quote of my father: It's better then a 5 star hotel) and I have to say it was a total SUCCESS. The apartment was perfectly located - close to Biennale and Piazza San Marco and was clean, quiet, the beds were comfortable and it was a real pleasure to stay there. Valentina and her Cousin was wonderful - very helpful and responsive. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it highly....
