My son, Alex, and I operate On Sacred Grounds AirBnb. I have been in the hospitality business for over a decade. Before becoming an AirBnB superhost, I owned and operated my own coffee house. I love coffee! I am have developed an AirBnB experience about the history of coffee called, "Romancing the Bean". It involves some lecture, sampling, and demonstration. Ask me about it and I may give you a little "taste" of the course. My other interests include playing piano, literature, art (enjoying the works of others), and out-door activities like walking and gardening. I am in training to undertake the Camino de Santiago in the Fall of (Phone number hidden by Airbnb)
This listing actually includes three separate accommodations: On Sacred Grounds https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/22018856, the Franciscan Cellar https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/31387409, and Historic Craftsman Home https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/37432771 .
Did you know that the word for guest in Latin is the same for host, hospes? Etymologically speaking, a shared relationship develops as a result of that encounter. My motto: You never get much out of life if you clench your fist shut. By offering hospitality and kindness to others, you will receive a great deal more than you give.

During your stay
Hospitality is a major component of the experience for anyone that books at On Sacred Grounds AirBnB. If I am home, you can expect that I will come out and greet you when you park on my driveway (located off Florida St) and I will help you with your bags. If I am not home, 24-7 check-in is an option is available since I have a key lock box on the front door. While cereal, coffee, tea, milk or juices are always available, hot breakfast can be easily coordinated. Options include Pilgrim's bread pudding, Italian omelette, buttermilk pancakes, or French Toast. The breakfast meal is already calculated into the cost.
Upstairs guests have access to my kitchen for lunch and dinner. Guests will be shown which plates, utensils, pots & pans they can use.
After initial introductions and morning breakfast, I will recede into the background. If I am needed, I am only a call away. I reside on the premises and want to be able to attend to all guest’s needs. While I enjoy talking with my guests, I respect their privacy.
