Staying at Quinta das Águias in nature offers an unforgettable experience. If you like plants, animals and tasty vegetarian food you will enjoy your stay with us! The cosy old stone guesthouse with two suites and a 2-bedroom with own bathroom. In total 9 guests can lodge comfortably. The guesthouse has a fully equipped modern kitchen and a spacious living room overlooking Quinta das Águias. You will have access to the 5 ha farm with its many animals, plants and trees.

Staying at Quinta das Águias in harmony with nature offers an unforgettable experience, a moment of happiness and peace. If you like plants, animals and tasty vegetarian food you will enjoy your stay with us! Our guests are invited to visit the Quinta with the exception of the private garden around our house. We request not entering the spaces where the animals live without prior permission. The guesthouse is a separate house, a restored old typical farmhouse from Minho, located inside Quinta das Aguias. We appreciate the contact with our guests, sharing good moments together, with respect for wishes and privacy of our guests. Quinta das Águias is located in Minho, near the town Paredes de Coura in Northern Portugal, a region with unique and abundant nature and picturesque landscapes, villages and towns, where the people are generous and hospitable. There are different nice river beaches and a protected area called Corne de Bico, a natural park with a rich bio-diversity and unspoiled nature a paradise for who likes walking, hiking and observing nature. Porto Airport is at 50 minutes, Vigo airport in Spain at 40 minutes. The beach and ocean are 40 minutes away.

Guest access
The guests are allowed to circulate freely in Quinta das Águias, only not to go inside the closed spaces of the animals. We also request guests to respect the privacy of the area around our private wooden house.

Other things to note
Some guests like to participate in the work at the sanctuary, helping to care for animals or in our agricultural activities etc. That is in principle very welcome.
