My work: Botanist and Barrel winery & cidery
I'm Lyndon and my wife Amie and I, would love to welcome you to our home! I am North Carolina born and raised and never left Asheville after receiving my degree from UNC-A in environmental economics. In my spare time you can usually find me working or playing outside. We both love to cook, garden and spend time with our 2 kids. We are constantly working on building and establishing our mini propagation farm here in Leicester.
My wife and I along with my sister and brother in law own Botanist and Barrel Cidery and winery. We have 2 locations our production facility in Cedar Grove Nc and our tasting bar and bottle shop which opened in spring of 2021 right the heart of downtown Asheville. We both come from a wine business background and work with some of the best restaurants in town and around the country so together we are well schooled in the best eats and drinks in NC.
One of the best qualities about Asheville is the community, so naturally we mostly eat foods we have grown ourselves or grown by our neighbors, including local meats
When we’re not making or slinging cider we enjoy playing music together as a family. Amie and I both play guitar, our daughter loves to sing and our 5 year old son likes to bang the drums or anything really;) We all enjoy learning about new ideas, people and places. We love traveling and absorbing other cultures, music, people and food.
