The Loft Studio provides open feel of the great outdoors with large skylights allowing forest sunlight to permeate your surroundings. Is it cheating to be protected from the elements and enjoy modern amenities? You are worth it!
Spacious accommodations for play, relaxation or sleep. Beautifully finished with fine craftsmanship. Sit on the balcony with a book and coffee or glass of wine. Plenty of gear storage space. Multiple amenities: Business Grade WiFi, Smart TV, central heat and AC.
Kitchenette: microwave, toaster oven, 2 burner electric stovetop, small fridge, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, dishes & utensils.
Or dine outdoors: charcoal grill, prep tables & picnic table provided in a sheltered space.
2 bathrooms: full bath with shower and separate half bath.
Get a good nights sleep on full futon sofa/bed or twin beds. We supply all linens.

Do not fret any equipment needs as Mike can help you at START LINE SERVICES, Bike and Ski Service Center. You have access to waxing stations, bike stand and secure storage. Parking for several vehicles. Mountain bike and XC trail access, ski/bike/hike in/out.

We are just 2 miles from downtown Cable. We are only 500 meters from the American Birkebeiner Start Trailhead. The closest lodging available!

The Loft Studio space is ideal for families, teams/clubs, small or larger groups. The flexibility of the open space is perfect for merging training and getting a good night's sleep. The sleeping arrangements include a double-sized futon couch/sleeper & twin beds. Below the cabin is the XC ski service area with stone grinding and waxing etc. We respect your quiet time. Shop operates during day through early evening. The shop is quiet so would not interrupt a nap.

Neighborhood highlights
We are 4 Seasons in the Woods. This is Silent Sport heaven: XC skiing, mountain/fat/gravel/road biking, hiking and snowshoeing to name a few activities just out our door. Water sports such as kayaking, canoeing, fly fishing, regular and ice fishing just a few minutes drive. We are 1 mile from National Scenic waterway for kayaking and fly fishing. Cable is a progressive rural town offering: Redbery independent bookstore, River's Eatery for fine pizza, Brickhouse , Velo & Cable Cafe for breakfast/lunch. The jewel is Cable Natural History Museum. We are ~ 45 minute drive to Lake Superior. Many artists have studios near Cable and welcome visitors. You will truly enjoy our community.

My husband & I are recently retired, he as a Chicago firefighter & I as a diagnostic radiologist. We are reinventing ourselves as innkeepers in Northwoods of WI. We just got our listing on Airbnb & look forward to greeting & getting to know our guests. We both enjoy living in harmony with the natural world. We are avid Silent Sport enthusiasts, partaking in XC skiing, hiking & biking etc. We share life with our rescue dog. Our children are young adults exploring their careers.
