We welcome all guest into our charming four bedroom farmhouse decorated in French country. Enjoy privacy on this 20 acre gated property with plenty of parking space for vehicles and boats.
Centrally located to all attractions in Bossier and Shreveport.
I love to meet new people from diverse backgrounds. This is a new venture for me after retiring from working with children in special education. I enjoyed decorating this beautiful home and feel blessed to meet you on your journey of life.

The space
Boasting 4 bedrooms of lavishly appointed living space, an outdoor kitchen, and a large front porch for relaxing, you'll find yourself smitten with the serene atmosphere of moss draped trees. Enjoy cooking in a full kitchen, which is equipped with everything you need to create a wonderful meal. Gather with companions in the open living room to watch your favorite program on the flat screen TV equipped with Dish satellite. The internet service is AT&T fiber. The fastest service available.
You'll undoubtedly want to take advantage of the wonderful outdoor features as well. There is a large gas grill and Big Green Egg cooker to grill your favorite foods. In the evenings, build a fire in the chiminea, roast marshmallows and enjoy S'mores, soak in the hot tub and listen to the relaxing sound of the waterfall cascading down the rocks,
Motion detector and video surveillance located at the front and back of the house.
Furry friends are welcome in the outdoor kennel but not in the house, please.

The owner reserves entry closet, pantry, and one closet in the master.

Other things to note
Small events and parties are allowed with prior approval from the hostess. There is a $500 deposit required on the day of check in or you can send by mail. I will refund $400 as long as everything is left in good shape, you will be refunded as soon as housekeeping gives the ok.

Furry friends are welcome in the outside kennel only.
No pets allowed in the house.

Smoking is allowed on the back patio. There are garbage cans to place the butts in.

Shreveport is just just a 20 minute drive. Bossier a little less time.

February - August there are workers that gather at the shop located at the entry. They leave early and return late afternoon to park their trucks. They will not disturb guest staying in the house. Sometimes there is a resident dog kept in the kennel. She is well taken care of by her owner.

If you have a boat, you'll surely want to bring it along, as the public boat launch is only 1/4 mile down the street from the home. Close proximity to Cypress and Black Bayou. Drive a little further and you can also enjoy Cross Lake and Caddo Lake. Spend time on the lake jet skiing, tubing, fishing, or just taking an invigorating swim.

When you're feeling waterlogged, you won't be at a loss for things to do! Golfers will be pleased to find multiple excellent courses nearby, perfect for an early morning tee-time. For some retail therapy, take a quick drive to Bossier City and visit the Louisiana Boardwalk or Pierre Bossier Mall for some fantastic shopping. Drive into Shreveport and visit Mall St. Vincent and let's not forget area boutiques and antique shops. Don't feel like cooking at the home? No problem! Take a quick trip into Benton, a 6-mile trip to Bossier and dine at one of their fantastic restaurants or stop at one of the many restaurants in Shreveport for a scrumptious dinner. If you're feeling lucky, head to one of the casinos and put that luck to the test, or simply enjoy seeing a live band and dancing the night away. Cypress Lake has a state park. It's approximately 10 minutes from the house. If you have small children, there is a nature trail and a small zoo with deer, pigs and peacocks. Children will also love Sci-Port and the newly built Shreveport Aquarium. Adults and children will be thoroughly entertained by the many productions the Shreveport Strand Theater has to offer.
