The Blickinsfreie is an old accordion factory on the edge of the forest, which we lovingly and very individually renovated from 2015-2017. Surrounded by the forests of the upper Vogtland, not far from Czech beer, you can retreat with friends or alone to get away from it all.

The space
THE UNOBSTRUCTED VIEW LOFT
Our loft is a very individually furnished apartment with forest and nature views all around. The loft, renovated in an industrial look, has all the basics to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
In the front part of the loft is the individual kitchen with gas stove (liquid gas), small refrigerator, toaster, kettle, French press, espresso machine and extensive crockery & cooking equipment. This of course includes oil, salt, pepper, spices but also some herbal teas from our garden. There is no blender. A large dining table, which can accommodate up to 8 people, leads into the cozy part of the loft with 2 armchairs, a sofa and a desk.
Since sustainability and resource conservation are important to us, some items in the apartment may not be as usual. For example, the fridge. It is only a small 40-liter cube, as we rely on natural cooling in the multi-purpose room at about 8-12 degrees. This protects the environment and conserves resources. In addition, a large shared refrigerator with freezer compartment is also available if needed.
The sleeping area in the back of the loft has 2 double beds (each 1.40 m wide). Please note that this is a loft, i.e. there are no separate bedrooms. Curtains are ONLY on the 2 windows in the sleeping area. All other windows CANNOT be darkened. Please take a close look at the photos to avoid misunderstandings.
As a special highlight, an old piano with a forest view is available, which is tuned once a year. Feel free to play the piano between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. However, it is not a children's toy and must be treated with respect.
I placed particular emphasis on light in the living space during the renovation. The specially handmade aluminium workshop windows with insulating glazing create a lot of light at a size of 1.50 x 1.50 m per window. A request in this context is daily ventilation in the morning and evening to counteract moisture in the old building structure.
As often requested by guests: Bed linens, slippers, towels & bath towels are on site. There's no need to bring anything.
The large communal garden with campfire area invites you to socialize.
An extra bed on our sleeping floor is possible for up to 4 additional people on request. There is also a mobile baby bed & baby chair on request.

RESIDENTIAL RESPECT REQUIREMENT
Our loft is now your second home for a few days. You should be able to feel at ease and rest. The points listed below are intended to help ensure a harmonious stay. We are sure you will understand this appointment. This is how we ensure that you and other guests will continue to have a great
accommodation is preserved.
- First of all: pets are prohibited, as we rent the loft as allergy-friendly. Thank you for your understanding. In our 2nd offer, the Cabin with a view, pets are possible on request.
- Please note that this is an old house with wooden beam ceilings. It is accordingly sound-permeable and not equally insulated, like a modern new building. Therefore, we ask you to keep the volume normal. Therefore, in the spirit of being a good neighbor, a quiet time must be observed from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
- No smoking in the entire house. An ashtray is on the terrace. Smoking is also possible there.
- Respect of the nature we live in. Tipping in the garden or garbage is an absolute no go.
- Alcohol or party excesses are prohibited!
- Visits by other people who are not part of the booking are prohibited and will result in additional fees in the event of a violation!
- The piano is tuned every year and used by professional musicians. It is not a children's toy and is therefore to be treated with respect.
- All guests must wash their used dishes, pots and all other kitchen utensils at check out. The final cleaning fee includes
the kitchen appliances & utensils! On the day of departure, the dishes may be placed in the shared dishwasher. I'll show you this on arrival.
- The Lessor is not liable for valuables of the guest/guests.
- Since there has been an increase in damage to fruit trees and flower beds in the garden by playing children, I would like to point out once again,
that any ball games are only allowed on the orchard meadow above the house.
- We care a lot about biodiversity. For these reasons, there are also many unsewn areas and various flower corners in our garden. These areas are not to be entered, that is quasi
Insect land. That's a good thing, too, because there are more and more ticks every year. For this reason, the uncut areas should also be avoided. Please discuss this with your children so that there are no misunderstandings. Thank you for understanding and support that nature is protected in this wonderful place.
- Your safety is important to us. In addition to the modern heating, a fireplace is also available for use in winter. The operating instructions for the oven are therefore available on site and must be read for safe use! Of course, you will also receive a short briefing from me. Of course, smoke detectors are installed and there is also a fire extinguisher. If you want to use the oven, please let us know upon arrival. I provide wood.
- When leaving your accommodation, it must be locked. All windows must also be closed in order to avoid possible damage during storms.
- Please use the resources water and electricity sparingly. Thank you!
- Right of access: In urgent emergencies, it may be essential for the landlord to enter the apartment without the guest's knowledge.
- Please never hand over the keys. In the event of loss, the renter will bear the costs of replacement.
- No street shoes in the house. Slippers are available on site, but you are also welcome to bring your own.
- Check-in is possible from 3:00 pm, check-out must be done by 11:00 am. An additional fee will be charged for late check-outs.
- Since we are not always at the property, we must be informed of the arrival time by 10 am on the day of arrival at the latest.
The house rules are the basis of your booking.

1) WELLNESS
Depending on availability, we offer the following wellness offers. If these are the basis of your booking, please ask me if they are available in your period. Bath towels are on site. Please bring bathing slippers/bathing shoes.
HOT TUB: Book a bath for you and your friends under the stars in our Kirami hot tub for up to 6 people. I will gladly provide the costs per 3-hour usage time window on request.
SAUNA: For those who like to use a sauna, we have a Scandinavian outdoor sauna for max. 8 people including cold water shower. I will gladly provide the costs per 3-hour usage time window on request.
2) CAMPFIRE
If you want to make a campfire, you are welcome to do so. Wood can be bought from me by the wheelbarrow for 15 euros each. Please note, campfire is only possible up to forest fire level 3 and no wind.
3) BARBECUE
We rent a large charcoal grill for a small usage fee of 5 euros/day. A reservation is necessary, otherwise the grill may be assigned elsewhere.
