Located 3 blocks from center of Alpine. 3 Private, lockable rooms available, each with shower, toilet, sink and amenities. Each room is separately listed. Common entrance room and small full kitchen area shared by guests. Kids welcome and pets with leashes or crates. Ample parking. Fire pit and patio available. Host and family live in building.

Lockhart Hacienda's motto: From hospital to hospitality! I'm a retired employee of the City of Austin - managed environmental health programs in the City-County Health Department for many years. I returned to Alpine to live in and care for an old hospital building that was built by my father who was a physician. Alpine and the Big Bend mountain region of Texas are wonderful places to live and visit so we are pleased to offer part of our building for guests. We're right here to serve those guests and make them feel at home. I can't live without my family and music - I play the piano and I play percussion in the Big Bend Community Band. I love to travel on the train and Amtrak serves Alpine.
