Fantastic villa, contemporary Mexican style, with amazing views to the bay of Puerto Vallarta. The living room area is open to a very large terrace with an infinity pool and every room in the house has an uninterrupted oceanfront view!
New Mexican villa within a private gated community with palapa, infinity pool, 3 large double bedrooms, onsite staff and the best view of the Bay (nearly 360º, like living on a boat). At Conchas Chinas (the Beverly Hills of Puerto Vallarta), just 6 minutes from downtown Vallarta and its fantastic nightlife and restaurants. Enjoy a margarita by the pool, a candlelit dinner or a picnic at the beach (half a mile from the house).
The top floor (street level) has: a large kitchen with open windows to the ocean and all modern appliances (incl. dishwasher), laundry room, a very large living room with a sitting area for 14-16 people, a dining room for 10, a patio with fountain, guest bathroom, 6-speaker sound system (also in the terrace), the terrace with your private infinity pool (7x4 meters), an outside sitting area for 10 and a lounge area with 4 sunbeds.
The second floor has a hall with a water feature, 3 large bedrooms, each bedroom with ensuite bathroom, oceanfront shower and a private terrace. The last floor has the staff quarters, equipment and service rooms and storage area.
The house enjoys very high ceilings (more than 3.5 meters), all the modern amenities, internet (WIFI in every floor), satellite TV (main bedroom and living room), A/C in every bedroom and 24 hour security.
Every utility (electricity, LP gas, internet, water) is included in the rate. Guest must pay its own food and beverage. The house has onsite staff who will: prepare breakfast and lunch or dinner, clean rooms and house daily, maintain pool, garden, terrace, etc. Any additional service like laundry, barman or 3 meals a day, will be charged separately.
The house is fully equipped (towels, bed clothing, kitchenware, etc), if anything goes missing or is broken it will be deducted from the deposit.
The house only allows a maximum of 8 guests. 3 couples (6 adults) is the perfect group as they can accomodate separately in each double bedroom (3). One bedroom can have an extra double bed for 2 additional guests (perfect for kids).
We just returned from a week stay at this lovely Puerto Vallarta home. The house is breathtaking from the time you walk in and see the beautiful view of the water and open air surroundings--you know you are on vacation. The best part of this house is Martin--he is the best chef and also very helpful and always has a smile. His food is better than any restaurant we ate at. You won't be disappointed. Taxi's are easy to get to and downtown is a short distance--maybe 15 minutes. Unfortunately, our weather was rainy but we made it to several beaches and shopped and even had a massage therapist come in for the day. We were a family of 5 and everyone can find a spot to be together or alone--the recipe for a perfect family vacation.
Villa Lapa Lapa offered our family great space for us to enjoy; outstanding views of the bay, great conversations, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms and delicious meals. Martin and Noemi were the greatest asset during our stay. The dinners that Martin prepared were the most delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine we have ever enjoyed. Martin also was great about taking us to local markets and Costco to buy fresh fish and any groceries needed to prepare meals. Noemi created and served fantastic Margaritas and was great at keeping the bedrooms and bathrooms clean. Our two concerns were : the lack of internet in the bedrooms on entire lower floor and the 4AM visits of a noisy cat outside our bedroom doors several mornings.
The breezes, sunsets and infinity pool provided a superb, warm weather get away for our family of six adults and three young grandchildren. Thank you for sharing your home with us Javier.
Beautiful, stunning views. Cozy living quarters. What you see is what you get...a literal tropical paradise! Just outside the city in a safe private gated community, but cabs are plentiful and Martin was extremely helpful in getting us where we needed to go. He is half of what makes this place so fantastic. He is quite an accomplished chef, and we preferred his cooking to many of the restaurants we visited! I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
I and my family are frequent visitors to PV. This was my 10th time and always either staying in a villa or a condo. This was my first time however with airbnb. I wasn't disappointed by either the villa, Casa Lapa Lapa, or airbnb. The views were remarkable and villa is located in one of my favorite areas of Conchas China. Martin and Naomi were also excellent in the service and care provided. I would definitely do it again.
The views from this place are amazing! The infinity pool right off the main common area is exactly what we were looking for and it makes it so easy to socialize with everyone. Martin and Noemi were very nice and eager to please. We weren't lucky enough to be greeted with margaritas/chips/guac like some of the other reviewers but once we arrived Martin set to work on a grocery list for the weekend. The food was absolutely delicious and Noemi made sure the place was well kept and clean. The front door only locks from inside but Martin and Noemi live on-site so they assured us the place was safe while we went out. Even though two of us speak some Spanish (definitely not fluent but usually well enough to get by) there was still a pretty big language barrier that led to some misunderstandings.
My advice to you: 1. If you have particular alcohol, bug spray, sunscreen, tea, etc. that you prefer, it is probably worth it to pay your taxi the extra $20 so you can stop at the store yourself. They also only cook for two meals a day and only buy groceries for those meals so you'll have to get the rest of the food on your own anyway. 2. Be very specific and reiterate which two meals you want. I think they assume to cook breakfast and dinner so when we requested lunch one day instead of dinner, it didn't happen. 3. If you want the leftovers you have to tell them every time. We didn't realize this until halfway through and our delicious leftovers were either thrown away or taken with them. Also, Martin is so eager to help that sometimes it comes across as hovering but I know he's just trying to do his job!
Things to know: 1. There is no store within walking distance of the house 2. We got eaten alive by bugs within hours of arriving so bug spray is crucial. 3. The bedrooms are downstairs and have a/c and limited bugs. The last bedroom is under the house and wasn't as nice as the other rooms so we didn't use it. Luckily we only had 6 people so no one had to share the double beds, only the king and queen beds. 4. The house is part of the Mismaloya region if you're looking at flat rates from the airport. 5. There is no ice in the house so don't forget to request it with the groceries!
Overall we had a great trip and the views alone were worth it!
Outstanding, breathtaking views. Excellent location. Martin (chef) and Noemy do an excellent job in caring for the home and guests - they seal a wonderful experience. I would also mention
1. The home needs a small amount of repair, eg pool tiles and soft furnishings.
2. Beware if traveling with small children. The floors are very slippery when wet.
The best Puerto Vallarta experience to date. My wife and I have been to PVR several times but none like this time.
We had two friends come with us and it was perfect. The house of course is beautiful and the on line pictures do not do it justice.
Martin and Naomi seal the deal. Martin is a fantastic chief and Naomi is his right hand women. They are so nice and are there for your every need.
Again this place is perfect.
