Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Trainer-Consultant-Mediator-Molenaar. The mill was love at first sight. So beautiful, and so strong. It is a working machine! The mill runs every week. With Sietske, my wife, and our 4 daughters we live near the mill, the children go to school in Amsterdam, by metro, by train or in summer by bike! We love "basic in style", of adventure, freedom and inspiration: that's how the mill is also made for our guests. A primeval Dutch mill in a landscape of painter Rembrandt and Mondriaan After many trips on all continents we have decided to settle into the most beautiful nature reserve near Amsterdam: Het Gein in Abcoude.
